This is how I feel.
Every day, most people are content in playing the game, grinding that hamster wheel, and happily taking whatever a broken system offers them with a smile without in the first place questioning whether it's sustainable or fair, or downright possible. Broken promises are sold to us every single day, and not just sold, but bought.
The worst of it are the ones that push forward KNOWING the system is broken. An issue of stake.
We are all Jim. We need #Bitcoin and we need to #Grownostr, get the message out. I wonder how the 2008 crisis influenced this particular section of the script for this episode.

Have liberated myself of the Microsoft shackles completely, been 5-6 years.. It's highly liberating.
My brother just reminded me of this from almost 10 years ago, great stuff.
Gets that groove going for coding&infra, and it's just plain fun..

Gm from 🇪🇺 Europe where we killed our hated despotic kings so that our loved elected republicans could enjoy this lavish lifestyle.

Criminal.
There's a fine line between society promoting engagement and thought around questioning of traditional values such as raising a family and getting married whilst thinking there're only 2 genders, and actively pushing for the belief that there are over 200 gender pronouns, that marriage is terrible, and that one shouldn't have kids because the world is over-populated.
Those who preach at scale, tend to not practice what they preach. I think we're seeing a necessary dissimulation of the status-quo in society by way of leading many to a a sense of mental exhaustion over all these identity politics, which unfortunately propagates itself to a myriad of industries we deal with on a day-to-day basis.
Step 1: Divide to conquer.
Step 2: Inject stake-based agendas into everything everyone interfaces with..
Step 3: ?

At some point personal data on the internet became so abstracted from ourselves, we never even knew what we were giving up.
It'll back fire though. Mixing PII with the internet was always a mistake.
Been running Lineage (another custom ROM) since the cyanogenMod days (previous project from same community).
I've been degoogled for about 7 years now.
The thing is, Google ecosystem integrates so well, because it's all centralised and made by the same people.
GrapheneOS is a great one!
For a degoogled experience you'll need to idenitify your needs on a per-need basis and find an alternative. As a good starting point, just look for open-source alternatives with active Dev teams.
With that in mind, the experience has been amazing.
Here are a few to get you started:
Gmail --> Protonmail
PlayStore --> F-Droid(open source), Aurora Store (If you ever need something proprietary from the playstore such as banking), Obtainium
GMaps --> I've been testing OsmAnd~, and enjoying it.
Happy to provide further alternatives if you need.
In summary, it's perfectly possible to have a degoogled experience for an entire family, and it works great so long as you're willing to put up with the odd quirk here and there and the lack of standardisation or unified eco-system, which when I consider the price is my data, is well worth it.
Good luck!
Hot instant noodles, curry preferred due to ginger.
Miracle cure for colds.

Oops.
Necessity is a catalyst for many, but not for all. Some are so entrenched in a deep slumber, they lack properties of critical thinking, even when moved by such signs of necessity.
I thought necessity was the single most important fact in change. Everyday people have proved me wrong in this regard.
Education proposed over time, and propelled by survival-based incentives create change at deeper levels. Incentives..
Ioni Appelberg doing it again!
Watch how important #Bitcoin is to Humanity's progress and journey along the #KardashevScale!
And then send the team a tip via the QR code at the end!

Watching #thegameawards live.
I'm calling it, tonight will be 5% interesting, 95% mediocre.
This is crazy @Chris Fisher
Sometime early last year I followed you and Alex on the #Self-Hosted Podcast. I still remember exactly where I was (during my long commute to work at the time) when I first listened to you guys talk Emby (yea!), and Home Assistant.
Due to other commitments I stopped listening as regularly. Fast forward a year, and I start hearing you guys saying "xyz coming with x sats, saying(...)", and I'm like "Wait, what?", I immediately rewind to listen again.
Then you start talking about Alby.
For someone who's been on the #Bitcoin journey for many years now, this is amazing. If not solely because people on your podcast likely don't get the idea they're even interfacing with Bitcoin.
It's just "sats". Maybe many think it's a virtual currency a la online games. It doesn't matter, because in time they'll realise it is true value.
Anyway, thanks for the content, I now have PLENTY to catch up on, and thanks for giving #Lightning a chance to shine in the wild!
Do you guys have a self-hosted specific address for lightning, or just the #Alby one on your profile?
Damn..
When I zap on #nostr using nostr:npub1xnf02f60r9v0e5kty33a404dm79zr7z2eepyrk5gsq3m7pwvsz2sazlpr5 wallet, my phone vibrates..
It feels goooooooooooood......
Probably the first #bitcoin #lightning wallet I've seen do this in a while.
Also may be a v0.8.0 pre-release thing, unsure.

Keep stacking.
And let #Nostr be your journal of events.
#Bitcoin
Definitely one to watch!
And yes, it can definitely get more dystopian.
Nico, I know bitcoin makes us optimists, but the fight is far from over.
The worst is yet to come, but so is the best.
