Fuck you to every fiat-minded stakeholder out there.

Your straw and wooden houses will fall.

Everything you thought you knew is crashing down.

Centuries of advantage taken.

Lifes were robbed.

Corruption encouraged.

Trickle-down-based-rulings for most, but not for some.

You itemized humanity at mass, and mined them for all their worth.

Physically, psychologically, and digitally.

Futures stolen.

This is your legacy.

Fuck fiat.

If you're in a developed nation, and are indoctrinated into picking a side, aka political party, because your life supposedly depends on it, then something is seriously wrong.

In Ancient Greece you had parties with different ideas come together in an early development of Democracy, and it was fairly open. Today, while that may be true, we've dissolved those values into a simple, yet alien labeling of Left and Right, and it is far from open.

And what do you get? Division. Lines are drawn within borders. Small elites represent interests that are not really your own. You have no soveriegnty and you're TOLD you will own nothing and be happy.

Let's ask how many Europeans or Americans voted for the CBDCs that're supposedly in the works.

They're pushing selfish agendas and your're cannon-fodder. These people are not looking out for you. Look out for yourself, for once.

Restore sovereignty and build a system whose rules include an inherent value proposition that is extremely hard to deny, one NOT based on fear.

Opt the fuck out. If you don't, you're committing multi-generational suicide.

If you like a reddit experience, try out Zapddit.com or Satellite.Earth.

Both have discovery functionality to discover communities. All is hooked and built on Nostr.

Increase the difficulty of traceability.

And when it's free, the question then becomes "why not?".

Throughout #2023 the #GamesIndustry has seen a brutal amount of announced layoffs. Every week (with the exception of 4 so far).

You're seeing the signs everywhere.

I don't think it is, not anymore.

I think the main barrier to entry at this point in time, is the misconception of necessary effort.

If we present it as a step-by-step what needs to be done, they may say it's too hard or too much.

If we present it as an afternoon-project, they may be more open to it.

That being said, in general, people are lazy even when it comes to their own welfare in the privacy context, but I think there's something in how it's framed that's worth exploiting.

As an example, you can spin your own full-fledged cloud service in a couple hours at this point in time:

- Get some hardware (raspi (or similar), old laptop, PC etc)

- Change a couple lines in a docker-compose file

- Run a single command

- Final Setup via the webpage

Based on the four steps above, if someone can't spend a half hour understand each of those steps, then I can't say they actually WANT to protect themselves.

You also have all-in-one setups like Start9OS that allow you to then install the apps via a marketplace.

I think if #nostr wants to lay its foundations proper, it needs to do starting doing this soon, with a more aggressive push. Take advantage of the uncertainty in other social platforms, before that uncertainty becomes normalised.

It needs to start branching off from the usual experimentation branch, into something that can be presented as a simple-xx-stage onboarding experience.

Present it as more than just #social media, yes, an everything #protocol, with a #Bitcoin standard and #Lightning powering its economy, but streamline it into a handful of the most feature-complete #apps for each type of experience.

All others will need to either keep experimenting, or catch up to claim some of the userbase.

They have no incentive mechanism to ensure value in the content. So it's now reached a point of... 'Surprise Mechanics', aka, lootboxes.

First thing to do in that page is filter the word "opinion".

Second thing to do is to close it down, when you realise the fallacy that is the title itself.

Not much value to be taken here, hence not much energy/time warrants expenditure.
