You run an #Umbrel OS server?
See, years ago Umbrel was bashed on for their very, very bad implementation of Samourai's Dojo.
After looking into it, it prompted me to never touch Umbrel again.
Their architecture has also received numerous criticisms over the years due to security issues.
This is just the next step.
Draw the line. There are alternatives that are downright better than this, such as #Start9.
Money MUST be simple. It MUST simply work. YOUR #Bitcoin #node is your GATEWAY to a payments network, it's a BRIDGE for your money, and it is YOUR ARBITER OF TRUTH.
"Bitcoin-only" isn't just about maximalism, it's about taking a #KISS approach where necessary to ensure optimal results.

Bitcoin unpruned node running from a phone.

Full KYC plus 24 hours before usage after registration due to government regulation.
Fully permissioned Bitcoin.
Convenience is a big reason for some people, but I don't see how this beats something as simple and private as Robosats for instance. Perhaps in speed, sure, but what you're giving up is just too much imo.
You know how people's attention span has declined considerably?
And you also know how people just want to keep busy with whatever is on offer, consuming as much as possible?
I have a feeling that's why so many "diversify" into shitcoins.
Keeping up with #Bitcoin developments isn't enough.......
Which they don't anyway, not when so many don't even know what #Lightning or #Ark is.
So they fail on two accounts, not just one.
No discipline, no focus. It's a last-ditch throw-shit-and-see-what-sticks "strategy".
I think the 'clicking' point for many new Bitcoiners is when they realise that regardless of time past, regardless of what's of the media regardless of the 9 to 5 monotony, regardless of everything that changes (or not really) on a day by day basis, regardless of the things they can no longer afford, regardless of the debt they keep burying themselves into... Those damn blocks just keep getting mined.
Permissionless order amidst the chaos, dictated by math with rules but no rulers.
It's something truly beautiful.

Julian #Assange is finally #free.
This is a good day.
This is an actual problem.
We need nostr-addresses, a la tor hidden addresses.
No reliance on traditional DNS. Make our own.
This is what I meant before about hosting "nostr-based websites".
I woild query a relay, and the relay would check a routing table of sorts, and send me the correct way.
Don't let Kermit's laid-back attitude make you think otherwise - This is a very real problem that more and more nostr users are starting to experience.
And it needs to be fixed. It's clearly a bug, an oversight. Now is the time to fix it.
These GIF memes are just brutal π€£
If this doesn't work, starting a funding page on Geyser might do it.
Does anyone have any recommendations for a #Lightning #wallet that is able to pay #Bolt12 offers?
#Custodial is fine, just need to do some #testing.
#AskNostr #Bitcoin
Of course not.
Playstore invites censorship, can't have that, big no-no.
And Robosats isn't the only one.
Find many of them here: https://zap.store
Keep in mind, your #bank is unlikely to function this way.
Take #selfcustody.

A #bitcoin node's Proof Of Work.
When electrs is waiting for the blocks to download, it's complete silence.
When the bitcoind logs rush in for each block getting #verified, I can hear the server's fan spinning up momentarily.
Up and down, up and down.
This is the way.
Run a #node.
#PoW

Hope you all opened any new #lightning channels you needed to, because this was a good weekend for fees.
The next one may not be so.
Keep #zapping.
Limit the number of relays used.
Use lesser-known relays as well.
#Government didn't ban #Kaspersky.
They banned the average #american citizen from being able to choose to install it.
Then again, anyone choosing to pay for and install #antivirus software in this day and age is being #scammed.
So, I dunno :Vegeta:
ProtonVPN's for most connections.
If I need a clearnet public DNS server I usually go with 9.9.9.9, but just if absolutely required.
I did some troubleshooting yesterday on an issue that may have been related, essentially some inconsistency with how my LN address worked. It may have had an effect on this particular issue, so if that's the case, shouldn't happen anymore. Otherwise, really don't know.. π€
