My name's Wicked ✌️🍎🍻. I'm an apple who loves art, math, programming, and Bitcoin. Exit fiat, save in bitcoin, and take it into self custody. Learn UTXO mgmt. https://wickedsmartbitcoin.com/

At the moment, it’s limited to the liquidity in your (or your custodians) channel sizes. This will become greatly enhanced with future updates though…I’m most excited for splicing, which will allow users to splice bitcoin in and out of LN channels on the fly while the channels remain open.

It’s pretty ridiculous that we’re now sending each other magic internet money instantly and free, as little as 1 sat at a time, on a decentralized purple ostrich messaging protocol turned social media app and people still think Bitcoin is too old and too slow.

What’s the best time of the day (GMT) to post on nostr in your opinion?

Don't understand how the Bitcoin halving works and why there'll never be more than 21M BTC? Well...here's the code. Don't trust, verify.

Hey…I recognize that table 👀 🤝

Usually when we talk about no-kyc bitcoin, we mean that there is no corporate record of YOU having purchased those sats. If someone else buys them for you and then transfers them to you, those would be no-kyc. If you work for bitcoin or sell something for bitcoin and receive it p2p, those would be no-kyc.

If you buy from an exchange and then mix it, although you’ve likely broken the on chain footprint to your new bitcoin, the exchange will still have a record of you having bought those bitcoin and so any rogue government that pressures exchanges for that info could use it to come after you and then the proof of ownership or not would be placed on you…and they’d probably assume you’re “guilty until proven innocent”. Things would have to get pretty bad for that type of scenario to play out.

Does it bug anyone else that 210,000 isn’t divisible by 2,016? I wonder if Satoshi ever considered making the difficulty adjust every 2,100 blocks. 🤔

Class of ‘17 had years of opportunity to stack at $4k-$10k…they should be doing just fine haha

Lol…I sold some weed for bitcoin when it was $600…but then I sold that bitcoin to pay my rent. Didn’t really start stacking/saving until 2020 after I got rekt trading in March/April. But, yes…I used to also be very emotional when I was a trader. Being a saver gives you peace of mind.
