In 2015, Daylenn Pua went and visited his grandmother in Waianae, Oahu, Hawaii. He told her he was interested in hiking the Haiku Stairs, otherwise known as the “Stairway to Heaven.”

This hike was closed to the public, and anyone caught hiking it was trespassing. His grandmother warned him against it, saying he would be locked up if he did.

On February 27, 2015, he caught a bus and ventured forth to the stairway to heaven hike.

Daylenn sent texts to his grandmother with photos of the hike. He was never seen again.

After his disappearance, the photos were studied, one showed what appears to be a man in the far background. He seems to be following behind Daylenn.

The family asked for public assistance and for anyone who recognized the man to come forth.

To this day, he or his remains have never been found, and what happened to him and the identity of that strange man in the photo remains a mystery.

The Social Security Administration expects their reserves to run out in 2035.

That’s a different pile of money than most other government functions, and so without either tax increases or legislation that transfers other money to it, payments going out to retirees could actually be cut after that due to not enough income flowing in.

I’m not sure what they’ll do at that point since we don’t even know what things will look like then, but basically 2035 is the next station to see if the train keeps going or not.

This drawdown will represent “intergovernmental” public debt turning into public debt held by either the private sector, foreign sector, or central bank.

Brief background. I grew up catholic. Altar boy, Catholic school etc… in general I had good interactions with Catholicism, but definitely was harmed by the classic Catholic guilt at home with family etc…

In middle school I went to a Lutheran school which was run by young earth creationists who in addition to being morons also happened to be hypocrites .

Really turned me off on religion in general and I decided that I was an agnostic atheist at 13 or 14 years old.

I basically stayed this way until I had children, which brought me around to believing in god again.
