Obstreperous Pedant | Came for the casino, stayed for the revolution. Diver tough veteran. LNG. 3D printing and CNC. monoculturalism is our strength.

I haven't set an alarm clock since before COVID. Feels like a win.

"Thus was the history of France logically developed in obedience to natural laws; such has, to a greater or less degree, always been the result of irredeemable paper, created according to the whim or interest of legislative assemblies rather than based upon standards of value permanent in their nature and agreed upon throughout the entire world. Such, we may fairly expect, will always be the result of them until the fiat of the Almighty shall evolve laws in the universe radically different from those which at present obtain."

Fiat Money Inflation in France.

When the chain splits you will get coins on both. Most folks want to dump the inferior chain ASAP and are likely to do so via KyC exchanges. When they do the exchange can associate the UTXOs.

I basically cook as close to the burner as possible on max heat. Within about 2" anyway. I will usually cook 1-1.5 min per side. And flip 4 times if its a medium thickish cut. You will notice that when the steak starts to sizzle the fat hits the burner and starts to burn as well. That's your "these knobs go to 11" moment. Be careful you don't burn it.

If its an extra thick cut, I will turn the burner down and flip an extra ~2 times.

I don't often let it rest and will usually just eat it right out of the skillet fajita style. You can though especially if its a thicker cut and you want to give the center more time to cook. Sometimes I will put it on the stove and throw a few fried eggs in the skillet too.

I don't get great results with this technique and thinner cuts. Usually can't get the outside where I want it without overcooking the inside.

OK fine I'll do it. how much of a market buy is it to eat up the order book to 100K?

Took me a bit of trial and error to get results I was happy with. Don't be afraid to experiment. YouTube and a meet thermometer are your friend.

I found a cast iron skillet that fits in mine and I cook all my steaks in that now.

Actually I'm vegan, would there be a meat-free version of the child?

Story time FAM. I went on a diving trip in Musandam back in 2015. We stayed overnight on a dhow and had a fabulous time. There was a Brazilian cage fighter on the trip with us who was in the UAE training the army in hand-hand combat.

We did a night dive and this poor fellow got tangled up in a fishing net from the nearby village (like this one). Like any sensible cage fighter would do, he pulls out a knife and starts hacking away. He clears the net but when the crew found out about it we weighed anchor and made for the horizon. They were not going to stick around and find out who owned that fishing net.

Good times. Beautiful country.

Shit you guys I think the normies at work are starting to suspect something.

Yes. There's a learning curve for sure but worth it IMO.

Now when I buy things for around the house, I will check first if its compatible with Home assistant and does the community like / support it.
