I made a simple Fiat/BTC/Sats calculator.
Some issues with existing ones include that your data is sent to a backend instead of being converted locally, the inability to easily copy and paste, and the readability issue that arises from not being able to see the exact amount due to the non-display of all eight decimal points.

Just zapped. Keep up the nice works!
I don't know what app you are using, but some of them does not have the feature that others have. Maybe if that's the case then you can try other apps. I use Plebstr, Amethyst, and Iris. I think there's Damus for iPhones.
Screenshot and let me see if I can figure that out.
I think the term "web3" is quite illusionary for some reason, at least for now. So as far as I can tell, the whole point of web3 is the user sovereignty of the asset through decentralized protocols. These are open source, so it's quite sure that no one entity can manipulate them; however, this is only theoretically correct.
The biggest web3 devs are happening on dexes, which are more centralized than many deem to believe. I'm not saying it's wrong ethically, but saying that the point of web3 is decentralization is wrong.
Seeing web3 protocols licensing and cooperating for corporate services and creating possible backdoors for so-called "protect against malicious actions" could go way beyond our imagination and end up blurring the distinction between web3 and web2, just being more "complicated internet service."
Some instances like metamask and some "decentralized" services banning users based on IP addresses and other reasons, a few wallets holding the majority of votes in many small-cap protocols, and lastly, censorship on the blockchain itself through authorities like OFAC (eth network) could lead to serious centralization issue on the environment, which makes it no different from web2 stuffs.

Grrreat start of the week 💪
I know you can code, but can you do pullups?

Hi there, I really love the UI on plebstr but I am wondering if there's any way I can connect my alby wallet as a payment solution on this app. It works for receiving, but not sending. Thanks.
Fiat is not yours. Learn to own your assets.

GM,
Just deleted twitter this morning. Too much useless contents.
Love to see fellow Bitcoiners out here

A classic old school gym in the park. Love this place

One quick question.
I do agree that #bitcoin is the only truly decentralized p2p currency out there. And I also think that giant alts like Eth or XRP compromise important aspects like decentralization, censorship and security.
But I'm wondeing if there are some roles for those alts in this ecosystem. While BTC works as a bedrock that holds all crypto, other alts can work as a malleable rocks that can be sculpted for more utility, though some of them are definitely scams or just to weak to be proved as "crypto".
I'd like to know how you think about this :)
That actually happened to gold coins back then, when the gov'ts reduced the purity and earned profit off of seigniorage.
Exactly, cuz those "custodians" always print gold "products" our of thin air, without proving if there's that much gold or not.
How much should I pay for each post or reactions?
And everything collapses when everyone wants their money back
