π¨ATTN Bitcoiners, today we ask for your help. Please read.
Estela Aguilar, known locally as the Abuelita, is the founder of the first farmer's market to accept Bitcoin in Costa Rica.
Her story is inspiring. She has fought harder & sacrificed more than anyone I've ever met to defend her personal sovereignty, freedom & way of life.
She recently sat down for an interview that will both make your jaw drop and warm your heart. All in 3 minutes. Be sure to watch this video, it's the best one you will see today on Twitter.
As a mother of 6, she's been shot, beaten, arrested & jailed while defending her small farm in the countryside from multinational corporations looking to take her land.
This 74 year old woman instinctually knew that Bitcoin is freedom money and she was all in from the very first day we met. Every week, she gladly sells the products of her farm for Bitcoin. She's a natural born HODLr.
Just a couple weeks ago, she took in a family of Venezuelan migrants and provided them with shelter, food, clothes, medicine, anything they needed. Putting politics aside, she saw people in need and she gave with all her heart.
In return, one of these migrants (while on drugs & alcohol), intentionally set fire to every structure on her little farm burning it to the ground. Then they disappeared.
She's filed a police report, but doesn't expect anything to happen- these people are long gone.
We're asking you to donate some sats to help rebuild her home. Anything helps.

Something doesn't add up about this story...why would they do that?
Every time a new freedom tech is invented....it's dangerous because criminals will use itπ.
We can't arrest or put criminals in prison though because that's racist.
So I guess it's the system's fault when they use itπ.
So who cares if they use it if nothing is their fault?
The truth is, they want to actually criminalize freedom.
Pickaninnies? Oh they've gone toooooo far now
Seems most of the things we celebrate as progress towards human freedom were illegal at the time they happened or are now.
This is a point that really needs to be hammered home.
The climate isn't in crisis...
Their funny money system is though.
Signal...peak idiocy is near
βI donβt think America is dying, just to be clear. I think the idea, itβs an end of empire and the empire mindset; I think that is beneficial to America and the idea of America. We donβt need to be an empire, we can be a strong solid country that is economic strength and the greatest in the world at innovation and building things that people truly want and grow from that without threatening people with military.β - nostr:npub1sg6plzptd64u62a878hep2kev88swjh3tw00gjsfl8f237lmu63q0uf63m on nostr:npub1cn4t4cd78nm900qc2hhqte5aa8c9njm6qkfzw95tszufwcwtcnsq7g3vleββ podcast

Freedom was won, not given.
The exception would be the retreat into the mountains or hinterland in less populous times.
It was won in the sense of our society today by very brave people.
It is brave people that value the responsibility of freedom.
Most people seek freedom from responsibility.
I need to plant one
It has been largely downhill since then
It's certainly a highly recommended thing although I'd use a different adjective... prudent perhaps
Not entirely sure that's a humble prognosis π
If you think equity is more important than liberty, you've been tricked into a delusional perception of reality.
Bureaucracy and govt agencies are the ultimate shitcoin companies.
