Wanted to give an update for the people who participated in our #seed selling fundraiser for the #Almedafire. We ended up raising about 16k to donate which was beyond our imagination tbh. Huge huge thank you to everyone that threw down!!! If you paid with PayPal, that money put 500 dollars in the pockets of 12 local families via their gofundme accounts. If you paid with Venmo, a chunk went to @cheffedupofficial @curbsideking541 to help their mission of providing free dank hot food, a chunk went to supporting the hawthorn park homeless community that was displaced, and a big chunk went to supporting the latinx relief fund organized by @ericalexia and @niriaalicia. If you paid with cash a chunk got spent at Costco today on supplies for Talent and the rest was donated at the drop off site in Talent to be used for more supplies and gift cards. We are grateful to everyone tagged for the energy they are putting forth for the community and also @riseandresistoregon for the sharing of useful information of what to do with these donations. Check them all out! And lastly ALL orders got shipped out today and should be there by Monday.

The day of the fire last week I was running errands in Medford and met up with @ziplockseeds who gave me his macro lens to borrow like a homie. I came home and took these pics of the #apricotmimosa in our greenie with it only to learn that ziplock and his fam were evacuated from their house that evening. He’s got some crazy dank auctions for fire victims right now as well. Check them out. Our fundraising efforts are yielding some results thanks to so many of you wonderful people. We’ve had ten people take advantage of the spend 500 deal in just 24 hours!!!! We will keep that deal going for the rest of today if you haven’t pulled the trigger yet. *Please scroll -> It is indescribable out here. So many great people have lost it all. Our friends in talent @snow.bex and @21athena came to our farm a week ago to offer us free labor for a day just because they’re great friends. Then a few days later they lost their house and two vehicles in the fire. They were staying with us when they found out. Our friend Gabe @lightdepsolutions has gone out of his way to help us with our greenhouses and other farm things over the last 5 years, and he just lost his entire business overnight which I have personally watched him build from nothing and employed some great people. Our other friends @biologiccropsolutions were one of a kind and the only grow store we enjoyed going in. Alex is the man and always kept us plugged in with what was happening in the valley. To see their store gone overnight is heartbreaking. But what really gets us is all these families that were already on their last couple dollars losing every single thing they owned. We know how strong our #cannabiscommunity is when it counts and it’s been so inspiring to see farms like @bensonarbor @oldgoldgardens @ziplockseeds and I’m sure many others behind the scenes going so hard to help, and we would like to inspire others to do what they can, including people who live in other parts of the country or other parts of the world. This is a way for you to directly help in our hour of need. So far we have donated 1000 to local migrant workers affected, 500 to local homeless who were already living in tents and lost the little they had and 500 each to two families that lost everything. These are tiny drops in a very large bucket and there are countless #gofundme pages we would like to throw dollars at. But with some seed selling efforts we hope to maximize what we can contribute and inspire other farms, businesses and people to do and give what they can because any of us could have lost it all this week. The smoke here is equivalent to smoking 25 cigs a day (something like that) and it’s only getting colder outside. Thank you community.
