Thought of the day: cold mornings make for a fast 5k at about a 9 minute mile. Normal is usually 10-15 depending on trail conditions.
Headed into the city today to get some irl facetime with humans from work.

Some one time announcements so that we can get the most out the next 7 days.
1 - check the YouTube for proper push up form. You can hurt yourself if you're doing these in proper form.
2 - share as much or as little as you feel comfortable sharing on this note. When your reps are done, you can update us here with a like or more details if you want.
My updates will look something like 45/5 or 50. Today is going to be a 45/5 day.
3 - Sore muscles mean you did work. This is a good thing. Wear it proudly.
4 - if the 50 reps are a breeze? for the last 5-10 reps do this...hold the up position for 2-3 seconds, hold the down position for 2-3 seconds. If you're still not feeling that the next day, repeat for the last 20 reps.
I do challenges like this when I am coming out of a lazy man funk and need to get back in the gym. These also work in establishing new habits.

My muscles reminded me I did some push ups yesterday. That reminder is also my PoW.
Yesterday was a good day. I feel like I got all the news for the week that matters from the folks at swan and there all day marathon twitter space yesterday. Hats off!

So getting onto the busines of Wednesday. I feel like ive been on a honeymoon with life these last few months.
Having thought on this a bit and following something Greg F and Nat B touched on recently. I think the reason why i feel this way is bc i am insured.
Insured against decisions made by people that i dont know or align with.
Maybe, in the future, that insurance fails for one reason or other. If and when that should happen using the words of cory paraphrased of course "You cant unsee or unknow the internet".
We know what we know and were not setlling for what we've had.
Interpret that as you will.

I dont have anything personal against people who work in fancy buildings.
I work in one of these fancy buildings some days.
My issues and contestment is against the ideas that it represents.
