Today is expected to be the warmest day of 2023 so far in my area.
Which basically means we may have company on the trails.
Which basically means we'll have to run faster.
Which basically means I'm going to remove the pooches weight vest.
Which basically means I'll get to see how much faster she has gotten over the winter.

My position with respect to elected officials and Bitcoin.
There are some politicians that speak ill of BTC because they don't know any better and have no incentive to invest in their study of BTC.
I liken them to many of my neighbors.
They are simply too busy, running really hard on that treadmill of life, thinking they'll out run inflation.
Heck, they don't even know what they're running against. Too jammed up with life sh!t.
At the end of their day they don't have the mental bandwidth left to ingest, learn and adapt an amount of BTC exposure with which they are comfortable with. There is not enough time in a day for them to pause, zoom out 2 days, 2 years, let alone 10 years.
This is sad because I'm of the opinion they are the ones whose lives would improve the most from a Bitcoin standard society.
These are the folks that have the most to gain.
While my circumstances would improve significantly as well. But not nearly as much as their lives would.
All that to say...
I am not upset as these elected officials or neighbors that fail to get off zero.
However, the ones that clearly have an agenda or their integrity has clearly been compromised by their donors and they are not trying to improve things for their constituents are our country.
We need to vote them out asap.
It's a virus that may propagate to other elected officials and while I generally don't care much for politicians, some of them are trying to do the people's work.
I speak of Betty W@rren and the two politicians that have sponsored the Restrict Act.
In my mind, they are pure evil. Taking the positions they have taken on a piece of technology that can benefit every aspect of modern family and household life.
What next, ban smart phones and laptops for anyone earning less then $XXX/yr.

You wake up TOMORROW morning and the US president has issued new executive order declaring $1 will be pegged to 1 Satoshi.
Immediate questions that come to mind:
have those cats (Buffet, Big Banks, the alphabet soup of agencies) been secretly accumulating sats?
are their enough sats in circulation to cover the USD in circulation?
have they (govments) discovered a hack or other means of manipulating/controlling btc?
what breaks in the short -> mid -> long term?
what is fixed in the short -> mid -> long term?
I would love to hear thoughts on this.
Going to think on it a bit. I am not sure how I feel about it yet.
