I see blastr like my https://t.me/pingstr_bot bot... a stop-gap solution to patch something that will be better solved later

The better solution that replaces Blastr would be NIP-65 if i’m not mistaken, no?

I’ve started working on a prototype of a discussion board/link aggregator (like Reddit) that’s powered by Nostr! Almost done with the MVP version and will post a link when it’s ready to try out 😁

Since Twitter and Reddit are often a bunch of “lool USA bad Europe good!” tropes, figured i could share the other perspective on nostr

Hard to say, it varies a lot depending on the syncing schedule of both the nitter instance and rsslay.nostr.moe

Yup that's possible, and you can do that now actually, as long as your list is public.

1. Go to your list page and copy the list number in the URL

2. Go to https://rsslay.nostr.moe and in the "Create a profile for a RSS feed" field, put the following:

https://nitter.moomoo.me/i/lists/*your list ID goes here*/rss

3. It'll then generate a nostr profile of the rss feed of your list!

make sure to add "https://" before the nitter url

Porting iris to use LokiJS in-memory database https://github.com/techfort/LokiJS

You can find the development version at https://beta.iris.to. Feed loading seems better already.

Oh wow, that version of Iris fliessss

Love it! Another nostr client joins the “NIP-65/Gossip Model” club, allowing the network to be as decentralized as possible.

@Tesla If this is what Ultra Red looks like, I'm stoked to see GigaRed! https://t.co/ROc95sT6pN

Oooo Broadcstr has gotten quite refined with recent updates! Great looking nostr web client and installable PWA for mobile

https://www.broadcstr.com

Also, this reminds me that I really like Snort's recent feature in settings where you can set a certain % of the money you zap to go towards the Snort dev team.

This is a great way to have a consistent income stream for the hard working nostr devs that grows as the userbase does!

He mentioned a while back that there will eventually be a “Damus Purple” premium subscription that gets you extra features. I’m looking forward to supporting Will and the Damus devs with a recurring revenue stream like that!
