Came across another image hosting service run by nostr:npub1wtuh24gpuxjyvnmjwlvxzg8k0elhasagfmmgz0x8vp4ltcy8ples54e7js , looks like it's running the open source Picsur repo, super cool!
Ah good catch, sending off a fix. Thank you!
Stoked to share the “Nostr on Reddit” project I’ve been working on, Agora!
It’s focused on following your favorite topics from all posts in the Nostr-verse!
It’s also a Progressive Web App, so you can install it on mobile by tapping the share button and “add to home screen”.
This is very much a work in progress, so let me know if you come across bugs or areas of improvement. Special thanks to #[0] for the fantastic Coracle that this project is forked from!
Depending on which industry for $, but Italy and and Spain are warm and have democratic governments.
Yeah those were the exact two I had in mind as semi-qualified!
Think about what areas fit all 3 criteria:
1. Sunny/warm climate
2. Democracy
3. Good job market/earning potential
Outside of the West Coast + Southern US & Australia does any other place in the world have all 3?

haha we're famous!

Having said that, using a federated model like ActivityPub means it'll still have a lot of the inevitable centralization problems that AP has. Nostr and its relay model are much better at avoiding this.
The protocol (AT Protocol) is basically activitypub except more seamless switching between instances and following people on different instances isn't a clusterfuck like on Mastodon.
Bluesky is just a client for the AT Protocol, like Damus/Amethyst/Snort etc

Ah interesting, good catch! Although even though it was signed by royals of Aragon, Castile, and Asturias, it states that it "divided the newly discovered lands outside Europe between the Portuguese Empire and the Spanish Empire (Crown of Castile)". So how does that work?
Thanks to nostr:npub1anarchyz6kyuse7qgszk7awkelmefuvgd40teh2g4kz3mfr6mtjqkxpvms for reminding me of that time Spain and Portugal said "let's go halfsies on the entire planet"
