Think about what areas fit all 3 criteria:

1. Sunny/warm climate

2. Democracy

3. Good job market/earning potential

Outside of the West Coast + Southern US & Australia does any other place in the world have all 3?

Depending on which industry for $, but Italy and and Spain are warm and have democratic governments.

Yeah those were the exact two I had in mind as semi-qualified!

Australia’s housing problems feel so across the board ridiculous at the moment, Italy and Spain might be better options!

Oh, on housing IMF has Spain with a worse income to house ratio and Italy as better, almost equal to Singapore (which is warm and has jobs but not exactly a democracy). Guess we’re learning Italian then!

Democracy is overrated, more important is economic and speech freedom

What non-democratic countries have freedom of speech?

Genghis Kahn largely allowed free speech and famously allowed freedom of religion. That was hardly a democracy.

At that demonstrating an example of one that has existed doesn't prove or disprove my argument. Just because no non democracy has (in the theoretical world where that were true) doesn't preclude one.

I agree. Also, just because democratic nations aren’t perfect doesn’t mean that they are overrated.

Oh democratic nations aren't overrated, democracy itself is. It is t really an indicator of freedom per se. Australia during the pandemic was a democracy with covid camps. Most democratic nations are freer than other forms of government, but using democracy as an indicator as in ops post does t actually mean as much as is being portrayed.

OMG! Democracy! Yay!

Democracy is fake, and Australia doesn't have it.

Add to the list a decent cost of living...

Sounds like filtering for gnarly totalitarianism. Change 2 to anarchic-capitalist and 3 takes care of itself.

Is there a real world example of an anarcho-capitalist society where the economy/job market was strong?

Italy, spain, greece, south africa, dont know if there are more!

I tried Southeast-Asia, it fits the 'warmth/sunshine' criteria, but all of these countries are either very much sympathetic with authoritarian China, or the WEF (Covid was a good indicator: full compliance to all authoritarian measures). Also, they're not particularly friendly to foreigners (unless you're filthy rich), lots of red tape and costs to be able to work legally there.
