👋 I’m Emily… longtime friend and colleague nostr:npub1hqaz3dlyuhfqhktqchawke39l92jj9nt30dsgh2zvd9z7dv3j3gqpkt56s converted me to the purple bird app. Happy to connect here and in person at #btcamsterdam #introductions

Welcome to the Nostr-verse Emily!

Shoutout to me (😂😂😂 nostr:npub1qny3tkh0acurzla8x3zy4nhrjz5zd8l9sy9jys09umwng00manysew95gx ) for this new client I'm working on (which I hope to release today)

The threading display looks really nice and I was easily able to do client-side spam filtering pretty successfully; here two very low-quality responses are hidden by default

oooo gimme

I’m just now noticing that your username is a play on “A16z”

Ahh gotcha, what happens if you hold down shift and click refresh 1 or 2 times?

ah good point, guess that would be the even more “present” map haha

ahh oops, i’m testing something cool that’s based off a fork of highlighter.com , but as you can see it’s still got some kinks to work out 🙂

Agora pings the nostr.band indexer API for info about a user like followers or relays, because the indexer has already compiled the info and it’s often faster than manually crawling relays for the info.

They do, but they may be using a client that doesn’t broadcast their relay list, that’s the core of the problem.
