Scammers are scum. But I trust the market to punish them more swiftly than the legal system. I think the fact that the legal system exists allows for them to ride on something other than reputation to engage their scams.

There is one bcasher on x whose content I really like, except for this topic.
It's not surprising to me that some people believe the crazy conspiracy narrative. But it really surprises me that he does.
Makes me wonder what crazy things I endorse that are fundamentally wrong but I'm blind to it.
Probably not. But in moderation, probably not a big deal.
Just don't get addicted.
I'm feeling ornery today. I have some people at work who I depend on but they aren't performing and putting my team at risk.
There's little I can do about it except document it.
