I've seen the word used for a type of haircut, and I think there's a fish (checking wikipedia, there are quite a few different fish called that) but nothing that would explain its use for bikes. None of the other mullets in the wikipedia disambiguation seems related (and the bike use isn't there).

Lovely ebike ride this morning, early enough to beat the heat, on my Specialized Turbo Levo SL Kids (yes Kids!) ebike. Which reminded me that I never finished writing my review of it, so now I've done so.

New (to me) front shock for my trusty old mountain bike, a Rockshox Recon Silver TK. The husband persuaded me to try it despite the weight (it weighs 1.5lb more than the Manitou I was using before! Oof!) It really does work a lot better, and look at all that travel I used on a run around Potrillo Canyon Loop.
