Hello #[2], welcome to nostr! There is no “official” nostr android client. Nostr is just a protocol and many different developers are building different clients that speak the nostr protocol. AFAIK, Amnethyst is the only one that is available on the Google App Store. If you’re a technical person, there are also many applications you can build yourself on Github!

You spread your data out to multiple different databases. That way, if one relay goes down, you still have your data.
Also, some accounts might post to one relay and other accounts to another relay. If you want to follow all these people at once, you need to connect to at least one of the relays they post to.

The ZBD + Nostream intergration is really cool! I do hope that we see more self sovereign ways of doing this where you can connect to your own CLN or LND node but it’s is still very cool!
Why doesn’t Wavlake let us log in with LNURL-auth? I wanted to tip someone for a cool song but I don’t want to log in with Twitter or Google
The important point here is that it would be a nice feature to be able to select which relays you want to use for the global feed. Doesn’t need to be paid, could also be my own relay or a invite only relay for that matter.
