I think most people refer to the point that he understands that money most be private again and stands for a free competitive market between currencies. That implies bitcoin becomes a legal tender by nature not by law. Never heard that he said exactly he makes bitcoin a legal tender by law.

Not sure what bukele has to do here. I’m not a Milei fan by the way but I did voted for him in the ballotage as there was no choice but:

1- yes, Milei never said bitcoin will be legal tender. He simply agrees and celebrates the existence of a private money and the freedom to chose whatever you think is useful instead of making it compulsory

2- Argentina has lots of problems but is far from being comparable with El Salvador. Sin yes Argentina luckily is not comparable and bukele is not a sort of God despite of having done lots of potentially good things there

Quant à l'Argentine tout comme certaines zones des usa Etats furent le refuge de certains nazis durant la 2 WW dont la plupart venaient de l'Allemagne, d'Italie Autriche Hongrie etc.. I think it's a complex issue, I'm not a Milei voter but I wish him the best.

On the one hand I think Milei is pro-fiat (dollar), I've only heard him in an interview talk about #Bitcoin. It's not Bukele.

On the other hand, we have had two very bad years of government and inflation that is already intolerable. I believe that whoever has won should set out to reform of the state in tax matter, finances and government debt.

Something that worries me is that we have very healthy traditions like quality public health and a public university that has won 5 Nobel Prizes. Almost Unique Things in Latin America. I'm actually a doctor. I don't want that to be lost in the name of Pseudo-Liberalism.

We'll see what happens. We need a change. But it must be the one that accompanies the values that we have as a nation. The same goes for human rights, where we have international recognition.

Regarding the fact of dollarization, it is something that does not worry me too much because in fact it has #Argentina already been dollarized de facto for a long time.

But one thing is for sure, we really know how to play football and make asado... 😅🇦🇷⚽

I went to buy dollars with residents, poor people, in Argentina. They were denied service. For some time there were limits, they could buy only a limited amount, until they began to discriminate completely, low income citizens became unable to buy dollars.

Anyone who can walk to an exchange house has access to dollars here friend. But it is true that any level of poverty is intolerable. I don't particularly use a lot of dollars in my daily life here. Everything here is paid in pesos, The dollar is usually a savings reserve, at least until today and tomorrow I wouldn't be able to tell you hehehe 😅

Discoverability is hard and it's something that developers are actively trying to improve upon. Some clients have implemented feeds powered by algorithms, but it's not widespread.
