Violinist and teacher, building a homestead on raw land in between lessons and concerts. Fascinated by how we can develop resilience in our lives, in our families, in our communities. I'm excited about freedom tech and circular economies, and am deeply grateful for the devs and advocates who are helping build tools for a better future.

There are definitely issues. My guess is that most folks who use AI for design would agree with that but have already made their peace with this (now intevitable) shift.

Regarding ethical boundaries: any effective regulation in this regard will create some very scary powers.

So I've resigned myself - as a musician - to focusing on what I can offer that's not AI (live performance, obviously, but also teaching because there's so much joy in making music).

Playing around with "get to" instead of "have to" as I plan my day.

Today I get to feed the rabbits;

I get to gather firewood;

I get to mulch our fruit trees;

I get to heat up water so that we can have clean dishes;

I get to practice violin;

I get to learn about UTXO management

It's quite different

congratulations!

#goals (not complaining, though - our Yeti coolers have been awesome)

Yes, he's out! Didn't actually fight at all when I reached for him to get him back outside. Tiny little thing 💙

Bluebird in our wood stove this morning

I'm finally back on my land after some traveling. This was the sky last night (and our beloved tent in the bottom of the photo).

I was never on Twitter so this is my first time with caps Odell.

THOROUGHLY ENJOYING THIS 😁

Someone posted a few weeks ago about a January workout challenge. I'm hoping that it was someone that I follow rather than a re-posting that I won't see again!

Does this ring a bell?

I'm re-starting my pushups in anticipation - hope to get to 3 sets of 25 by the end of January! Also a full split and lots of kettlebell swings 😃

Not what you asked, but FWIW I find the best strategy is to not say much - just have them download Muun (or whatever easy iOS wallet) and send them sats on the spot. It's amazing how owning some bitcoin makes them interested in what it is and how it works, plus they immediately get the p2p aspect without me even mentioning it.
