To combat the constant spam bots creating npubs over spamming the same shit I'm word blocking their URLs to hide them. Wish it wasn't specific on is it https:// or is it https://www. because that matters in word blocking.

Too much that's the problem. A comparison won't address the issue a change in settings will if we have a form of control on the feed because each request from a relay is a constant pull the feed from that & this relay. There needs to be an option to change it from constant to a customizable number if the user wants it to.
I would keep mine off & only do manual pulls like how Instagram use to have. It would just be a swipe down from the top then the feed refreshes.

Io yo Damus calm down with the fucking bot spam & control yourself. There's even a random bot that searches relays & automatically reports every note that has a curse in it. That's not right man there shouldn't be a bot automatically reporting every note & then publicizing it on it's github automatically. I blocked it just to stop getting a notification of a comment this has been reported blah blah blah fuck you & your developer.
