Well deserved
Data point: I know two highly skilled, highly experienced finance professionals who will be out of a job shortly. One was laid off this week and the other told his contract ending in June will not be renewed. These guys were director and higher level folks.
Take from this what you will.
It’s a stupid law. I was general manager of a retail store when they enacted this law and it was a mess. People were taking our stickers and labels off and trying to put them on other products to try and get them free or $10 off. Wasted so much time adjudicating what was a legitimate scanning error and what was nefarious. I don’t disagree with the ethos of the law but it needs tweaking. Shit happens, tags fall off, items get missed in batches of price changes. Fortunately most people don’t know or care about this law.

I always listen while walking. Walk 1-1.5 hours a day. Listen to many different podcast, mostly bitcoin, finance or sports related. I follow around 15 different shows but am pretty selective about what to listen to depending on subject and guest.

Buddy just texted me that he is at PGA championship with another pal of ours and our other buddy is wearing a new Daytona he just got. There was a time I would have been super impressed by this but now I was just thinking he could have bought 2 bitcoin instead. Haha
