Just your average high-signal day on NOSTR.

Iām trying to figure out what #vibecoding means.
Itās like the option is there to stay in the App Store but let us make it so limited that people will look for other means.
I donāt think you can buy more than $4.99.
What do you think nostr:npub1kun5628raxpm7usdkj62z2337hr77f3ryrg9cf0vjpyf4jvk9r9smv3lhe ?
I wonder why companies push for paperless billing, especially since they donāt offer any incentives to convert.
āDelete photos even harderā I felt that. And when that doesnāt work, delete photos harder than harder!!
I use a NAS mainly for backup and to free up space by deleting local files. But some apps burn through storage ridiculously fast ā like Spotify, Damus, Primal, and the usual centralized social media apps.
Apple intentionally makes it difficult to clear cache, clearly pushing users toward buying more iCloud storage. Itās a frustrating tactic.
Synology used to be the āAppleā of the NAS world ā polished, user-friendly, and reliable. But after their latest announcement, it feels like the company is going downhill fast.
Theyāve been stripping away features from Synology Photos, removing essential video codecs like H.265 (HEVC), H.264 (AVC), and VC-1, Video Station, and updating Container Manager (Docker) to a version thatās already reached end-of-life. Now, they're taking it even further by locking new Plus models to only use their hard drives or ones they explicitly approve.
Itās a disappointing direction. Iāll stick with the models I already have for now, but Iām seriously considering building a new server ā probably running TrueNAS or Unraid.
Likewise.
I prefer apps since they are optimized yet I hate the access it. If the browser or PWA works the same, Iāll use it.
Like Rumble on Brave Browser, no ads.
Whatās your go to method when nearing storage capacity?
Thatās pretty smart. In case anything happens to the phone, the important stuff is backed up.
I use a NAS for backup.
iPhone usersāhow do you store your photos?
Locally on your device, or do you use a cloud service like iCloud, Google Photos, Synology Photos, Immich, or Dropbox?

What about if you're on iOS?
Is there a website that lists available paid relays?
Even with a paid relay, I assume it can still see your trafficāit would have to log it. I bring up VPNs because they mask your IP address. While relays might still have access to your data, they likely wouldn't be able to determine your geolocation from the IP, which is probably the main concern for most people.
Any relays you recommend to use and should everyone use a VPN while browsing Nostr?
