Just a Bitcoin Lizard trying to gobble up some sats.

IMO pools can mine whatever transactions they want and miners can choose to mine with them or not.

Ocean's sin was acting in bad faith by false advertising about their pool.

From what I've seen from salty no-coiners on Twitter and at my workplace we are already past that point.

At what point do we have to stop saying "we are so early"?

#Bitcoin

ETH is 100% riding on the coat tails of #Bitcoin. It absolutely needs an ascending Bitcoin to pump.

The ETH Dev team has done everything they can to constrict supply to get the turd to pump but there is no long term value in that approach and the market is realizing that.

I think so and hope so. I always marvel at how many things Satoshi had right out of the gate. These inscription folks can broadcast transactions forever but at the end of the day they have to pay the fee. Only they can decide how long and how much they want to pay. Most likely they will reach their limit and then I can force close my AWOL lightning channel partner.

Some apps require Google Services and won't function without it. Most often it seems to be for notifications but it can be for other things as well.

As an example I sideload the Twitter app. It works 100% except for notifications which is cool with me. Other apps just won't work without Google Services but I find that most do minus notifications.

My primary account includes only F-Droid apps and a few that I sideload that don't depend on Google Services. I spend 98% of my time here.

I have a secondary user account with sandboxed Google Services installed and a handful of apps that require it.

With WoS shutting down in the US I thought this might be relevant to some. Roll your own Lightning Zapping setup and become unruggable!

Core Lightning is fantastic and noncustodial. You could open one channel to a large node. That gives you a pretty good spending experience.

Receiving Zaps is a much bigger issue. Noncustodial Zap receiving requires a BTCPay server and is technically challenging to set up. You also probably need to have your node connected over clearnet to reliably receive which presents privacy concerns.

Well to be honest I'm pretty locked in to amethyst because I find it to be the best experience.

I do use Snort on the desktop though.

The only thing keeping me going is that all of the electricity I'm burning for the last 49 hours with no reward is heating my house.

Yeah, you have to close all your channels and start from scratch. If you don't have too many channels it's completely worth it in my opinion.

Well I guess that won't happen!

Ironically I use Zeus as the front end to my CLN node and I'm not going to be coding up any changes to block LNURL to zeuspay!

If this is resulting in force closes then I think blocking is completely valid.

Also, no one should run LND.
