Thanks for offering to help, much appreciated!
Fedora 41 does indeed work fine with Docker and Dojo 1.26.1. My issue was that I somehow had a very old version of containerd installed. I had apparently installed the containerd version from Fedora 35 (perhaps there was an issue with the Fedora 36 version). It seems if you install a package manually without using dnf then dnf won't update it, even across major version upgrades.
After I removed the outdated version of containerd and installed the one from the repository everything works correctly and Dojo is now up and running.

I can typically understand the mechanics of the senarios Luke describes and they tend to make sense. That being said, someone like nostr:nprofile1qqsgz30qhzza9mh9lpxd3ls5ekkc9u3rrqmnz3ngahad8cyt80kjuucpr9mhxue69uhhyetvv9ujuumwdae8gtnnda3kjctv9un4n9r8 has been more accurate with predictions so far.
Luke is wrong until he's not and then I think #Bitcoin and probably even gold will do extremely well.
Full Disclosure: I have no gold position.
Are there any Fedora/Docker experts out there?
My #Samourai #Dojo will not build after upgrading to Fedora 41. It seems like #Fedora is prioritizing Podman and there may be issues with their #Docker implementation. I'd rather not build a new VM (Ubuntu) just for Dojo but it seems it will come to that as I strongly prefer to be able to use the distro Docker packages and not have to install RPMs directly from Docker.
Any insights are appreciated!
I've run my own #btcpay instance for several years (non-docker, not recommended in their documentation). I use it to receive Zaps for this #Nostr account without depending on a 3rd party. It can also be used to receive #payjoin payments although with recent developments btcpay will no longer be the only way to do that.
It is a nice Swiss Army Knife for on chain and lightning similar to what nostr:nprofile1qqs8u5uf0rd2p9wmdxxaznpn54tkq8wwspmljy0cjqw6jdgm5kv84dspp4mhxue69uhkummn9ekx7mq20qgpe has become but more geared toward receiving payments. I highly recommend it.
Fantastic job! You really have to think outside the box to create a solution like this. Massive improvement over v1. I think in v1 only nostr:nprofile1qqs22d4tralncqfnh2kmmarjkxk8449hwnk5xtqe3y5yry6hy7ytegqpzemhxue69uhk2er9dchxummnw3ezumrpdejz7qgcwaehxw309ahx7um5wghxvmt59emkj73wvf5h5tcpz4mhxue69uhhyetvv9ujuerpd46hxtnfduhsymkvl9 could receive?
Multivendor is nice as long as you make sure to never die. If you want there to be a reasonable chance that your heirs can access your #Bitcoin in the event of your unexpected passing I think the best course of action is to use one hardware wallet type (multisig), one wallet software, and get your family members to know it well.
For hardware wallet I use Coldcard.

Yesterday my wife got the call from "Google Support" to let her know that someone was trying to gain access to her Yahoo email account.
Shame on me that I hadn't taken the time to educate her about this type of attack. Fortunately she is very untrusting and hung up the call. She was pretty shaken up because the attacker knew her email address and full name.

Background on why it might have gotten messed up. I let the subscription lapse for several months before renewing last night. Maybe there is some logic related to expired subscriptions that isn't working correctly.
Can the team behind Nostr.wine help me out? I paid the 2500 sat renewal and the notification says I have a subscription until November 24th of 2024 which isn't very useful. I keep getting the renewal popup for inbox.Nostr.wine every time I open Amethyst.
Yes but not because I have any faith in the system. Voting takes little effort and it might cause me to be less persecuted as a Bitcoiner.
Back online as of 20 minutes ago or so.
They appear to be 100% down. I can't get to the dashboard page and my miner has failed to a backup pool.

Absolutely! Trump won't save anyone but based on his past administration he will very likely leave us alone. #Bitcoin was largely left alone to flourish between 2016-2020. Would Bitcoin look the same today if Hillary won the 2016 election?
