Those who claim bitcoin has no value should try wiring money overseas:
I incorrectly filled out the form with bank details to pay for Tildes new motor. The money was sent back, subtracted fee for the transaction and exchange in both directions. This amounted to about 80$
The only redeeming quality is that I was lucky with who was helping me on the phone, so I got refunded.
While filling in the form again, hopefully correct this time I am reminded how much easier, quicker and cheaper it would be with #bitcoin even without Lightning network.

After days of cleaning I have started to paint the bottom inside the boat. Often the most severe rust attacks origin from the inside of a steel boat. As was the case with Tilde.
Previous owners had sprayed a foam inside to get some insulation, but this also doubled as a sponge, trapping water resulting in galvanic corrosion. This now gets rectified with smooth white paint. This way any issues will be easy to spot.

Long time no update, and as I’m getting more and more optimistic I see the end of demolition work on Tilde I discovered that the rust spots in the water tank was hiding pitting rust. Luckily most of the spots is not on the walls of the tank that is also part of the hull.
But anyway, I’m discussing with myself whether I pull out the welder again

Gm nostriches. Things are feeling unnervingly calm at the moment, price stable, no big news, but feel the need to prepare. Continual worry about what the UK will do with capital gains next week is real. They don’t seem ashamed about raiding your savings or successful investment……
Deep breath, look to manage my kyc cross section (if that’s a thing) and use it as an excuse to reduce fiat account exposure. Added to this, if nostr:npub15dqlghlewk84wz3pkqqvzl2w2w36f97g89ljds8x6c094nlu02vqjllm5m is going to label me a paranoid crypto anarchist, maybe I should begin acting more like one, ditch my fiat denominated assets managed by Fiat brained ceos and go full self custody.
