Yeah, I agree, news at the large scale ends up being an observational dilemma. I am pretty much unplugged and read some very local stuff.

What if there is another group (outside govts.) that has heaps of money and tech and is influencing big govts.

Like they show no allegiance to any country and don’t really live in any country. They might not even be on Earth a lot of the time.
