Now zaps not working either through iris, wtf? They were working last night, and still work through Damus, but keep getting various ‘server’ errors.
Hopefully it will evolve as zaps become more seamless. It does make the ‘like’ button redundant, so would it not make sense for clients to start just removing likes and pushing zaps as the replacement?
Switched to iris.to and loving it so far, but it doesn’t connect to my umbrel relay whereas Damus did. Any tips?
A lot of people need to hear this. You will fuck up, you will get cocky, you might be tempted by shitcoins, but if you commit to learning and growing, you’ll get there in the end.

For Damus you just have to put your lightning address in your profile and the little lightning bolt will show up and people can zap you.
Other clients/builds have more options for notifications and zapping individual posts I guess, but that’s the very basic first step.
Yeah very much. I caught wind of the controversy around it on Twitter but it was just a bunch of impressionistic comments back and forth. Gotta get myself sunk into this even if it’s only to understand why it’s wrong.

nostr.directory has stats on number of public keys and events (which you could use to interpolate number of users somehow, maybe?)
