I think the solution is for devs to monetize nostr apps in some form (or add donate option). The fact that many people have a wallet connected and it takes one click to pay is the game changer.
Agree that we have something big developing here, but $3k is a small amount to fund a dev. Like 1 month of living? Your case is also looks exceptional. It's not happening on regular basis so it's hard to rely on it. We have a lot of room to grow.
- censorship resistance, anonymity and freedom of speech
- network effect is higher than other P2P solutions (like Holepunch tech and Pubky)
- early enough to build my own project
