We will not block anyone from posting images like this - we can’t. Clients handle it differently.
As a poster you could add a content warning or a known hashtag like ‚nsfw‘ and apps would know to hide it.
If you fail to do so your account may end up on a filter list (e.g. primal hides a number of accounts by default). This could happen to you now.
Many clients only only show content from your followers and blur content in the global feed. This way you only see content from trusted users.
Not really ... many of us here use https://fountain.fm/ for podcasts. It supports sending sats, but it's not based on nostr (you can connect a nostr account though).

No flashing, but primal is really slow for me today.
There is a adult content on the relays but it is filtered by clients. If you search for the right hashtags you’ll find it in most clients. On slidestr I filter by content warning, hashtags and some „known npubs“ - that works surprisingly well. It needs some manual maintenance though.
#aiart might be controversial for many but there are some profiles with pretty cool content. nostr:npub19wj5lfj2v75zxl28jply2gsjnn5fafa0hxvwtu7eh964mywxtlaqd9acl8 is one of them - if you like spaceships.

I have added an experimental hidden video filter, so you can try it out. I currently don't have video thumbnails, i.e. the grid instantly loads all videos - which is not good.

The important part of this is the API for file storage that it introduces. It will allow us to distribute content similar to the way we do with events in relays.

We don't have an app that helps you create videos, but you can upload them. They are usually stored separately on the internet (e.g. on https://nostr.build) and the post just contains a link to it. Most apps do that automatically (Primal, Damus, Amethyst), though there might be limitation in the size for videos.
If you just want discover people and images/videos you can try https://slidestr.net/ but I don't know if I can ever put video creation into a wep app.
