GM and Happy New Year 2025 everyone!!!
GM & Happy New Year's Eve everyone!
May your last day of 2024 be a good one, and may your 2025 be your best year yet.
“An amazing new possibility space is emerging, where humanity could provide itself superabundant energy, transport, food and knowledge without hurting the earth. This could be the next giant leap in human evolution."
This is the future Bitcoin ensures. It cannot be stopped by the current system of extraction. Authoritarianism is afraid of losing it's control but it's mainly due to a misunderstanding of the true abundance Bitcoin allows. Everyone will benefit.
In the end Bitcoin embraces those who fight it all the same, as it turns all enemies into allies. This future is coming faster than most people realize. We are on the cusp of a new age of human civilization.
Why not just move the 401k into Bitcoin? There are services that allow you to do so.
Yes. But it would require significant frugality and a low cost of living. It won't take long for the value to rise enough that you could live more normally though.
GM & PV Nostr 🖖🤟🤘✌️
Do whatever makes you happy.
For me, that's helping others and my environment and doing things that keep me alive and healthy mentally/physically/emotionally.
What does that mean to you?
Immediately dump it into Bitcoin ➡️ transfer 90% to self custody 10% to Strike/River/Unchained ➡️ continue as normal.
I'd then assess how to use the money now that it's protected from all forms of theft. Borrow against it to buy a house or 2, increase my ability to short the US dollar by spending debt and continuing to HODL. Gift enough to my close friends and family that they don't need to work anymore, around 2.5 Bitcoin or so each.
Order fake fake money to track the value of your stack and play with the USD like it's a board game. Lol.
Seems he's beginning to think more about Bitcoin, early stage orange pill.
Guess I won't watch it then lol.
I recommend Apple TV shows. Severance is great and unique sci-fi so far, Foundation is really well done sci-fi (though only half the show's writing/acting is incredible, the other half is like a B movie), For All Mankind is great alt-history of the space race, and Ted Lasso is a great feel good show focusing on people/communication and relationships.
There's also "Man in the high castle" on Amazon that I thoroughly enjoyed overall.
Outlander I'm watching on some recommendations and it's a very good period piece. Poldark I watched and really enjoyed, another great period piece.
If you haven't watched any Star Trek I'd highly recommend the Original Series and The Next Generation on Blu-ray. They are filled with lessons on morality and questioning authority to do what's right, I intend to have my kids watch them as lessons on how to be a good person in the world. If you find them too slow, they are different from the TV of today, then give Strange New Worlds a try as it blends old and new into it's own thing that really works.
Hmm. That looks to me like exponential growth in value being exchanged for exponentially reducing Bitcoin... and it shows no signs of stopping.
It's slavery where the slaves think they're free.
