Would be cool to add some zap-based betting on the tournament.

I've been feeling burnt out lately, despite the absolute privilege of being able to develop on nostr, so for the first time in probably around 8 years I'm going to take a 2+ week vacation this summer. No code, no nostr, no email.
This will hurt me more than it will hurt you. But it'll allow me (Lord willing) to come back fresh and ready to tackle the next steps of making Coracle the nostr client it needs to be.
Not sure yet what I'm going to do with myself for two weeks — but I have a hunch taking my 8 year old son on a backpacking trip might be part of it. I've always wanted to see Mt Rainier up close.

Beautiful!

#BTCPrague #Madex
When I got from #Prague to ATX ~10 years ago, I was impressed by how young, healthy and wealthy the people and the city felt there.
By now, the first thing that smacks Americans (even Austinates, and myself) into the face when coming to the summer Prague is how much younger, healthier, wealthier and *happier* the people in the city are.
Maybe it's my vacation buzz, but the contrast in the happiness is so vivid to me.
A big corollary I see here is the difference in the wealth concentration across the two. While there's undeniably been great opportunities and wealth creation in ATX over last decade, it seems increasingly more concentrated to the few. In Prague, it's been more distributed.
Another corollary - the breadth and quality of the services. In the US, it's hard to find a good service, yet they demand minimum 20% tips. In Prague, if you avoid the tourist traps and don't behave like the bad kind of tourist, you can get anything you ask for.
Works the other way around as well.
Disrespect in #Prague

It comes along with an actual freedom to do shit here. The opposite of an HOA or an uptight US or European old rich neighborhoods.
There's more communists in Brussels or in the Elizabeth Warren's suburb than in Prague, but no grafitti there.
Freedom doesn't come in a uniform, and isn't maintained by following the old rules.
See ya soon Derek 🧙 Can’t wait allready, but now I need to survive two days of 12/12 xd
Here’s some tips for beer in Czechia

Hopefully you will enjoy your time here in heart of Europe in Bitcoin Capital 🧙🫡
*POUR gold from Czechia
Shilling #Prague to the Bitcoiners.
Braains Propagandists nailed it with this one.
*Certainly download the Qerko app to be able to pay w/ Bitcoin at hundreds of pubs and places around Prague. If the check-out sticker is on the table, they accept Bitcoin (often without even knowing it).
2 summer months there; you're not gonna need the return tickets ;-)
Definitely not in cash before the bitcoin bull makes its run.
Maybe, if I can take a 10+ year fiat denominated loan for it.
Also, depends on the size of the property size. If it's worth too much, they will tax it harder than a small apartment, so there's more to gain (if you trust the other party on the deal)
There's been 7(!) different state currencies within 100 years in Czech between the 1890s - 1990s.
Every single one of the monetary reforms stole money from the savers. The communist one was arguably the worst, but it's myopic to think it was the only bad one. And it's myopic to think that they steal your savings only during the volatile reforms. The steady times standardly come with a substantial dose of inflation.
Nice! I was thinking about something simple like that, just a bit smaller. We got unusued narrow tall nook next to the kitchen that would be great for it.
