I'm assuming how I feel now as I explore #nostr, and think about it's long term implications and potential, is how people who used the internet when it first became available felt, HYPED AF.
Obviously nostr is far from perfect and there is a lot of work to be done, but to me that makes it even cooler that I get to be a part of the early making of history, both with nostr and bitcoin!

For me as an aspiring content creator on Nostr, I feel it's just going to take a bit of patience in terms of getting zaps for content. In the long run, I believe those who get in early and stick to it will be rewarded for the value they consistently produce but for now I'm taking it kind of as an early content creator on YouTube before the monetization. Creating, and sharing notes and other things on #nostr without expecting to be monetarily compensated but simply for the joy of being able to create in a digital realm powered by freedom. Just like #bitcoin, #nostr will ultimately reward those who have low time preference so I feel as content creators on nostr we must believe in the long term potential of nostr, and keep building without worrying too much about the short to mid term outcomes.
Understanding nostr is quite similar to the process of understanding bitcoin. It takes time and a constant curiosity to want to learn and experience it's potential, which I'm also just realizing. So for those content creators that came here with the motivation to earn quick zaps, I encourage you to first dive deep into the nostr rabbit hole and then you'll soon realize it's way more than a place to earn zaps!
By breaking out of the fiat Matrix, I've learned that money should never be our main motivator to do things, especially the things that we love most and we are passionate about most. The majority of people in the fiat world are driven by making "money" and that is exactly why it's such a depressing and hopeless world.
With that being said, money is still a powerful and important tool, and we do need it to live day to day. Therefore, maybe the short term solution for content creators is for us to 1) continue learning about nostr 2) continue creating and building 3) and keep working in the traditional space without going all in on nostr right now in order to pay our bills.
And of course let us all help each other out #plebchain 💙

Bitcoin is freedom money, Nostr is freedom internet (or something along those lines). Discovering, and understanding Bitcoin has been a once in a lifetime experience for me, but now I get to go through something similar with Nostr? I'm ready! Are you?
