Recording and re-recording sound.

I think #[5] mentioned something like #Nostr will be a key layer to the internet. Heavily paraphrased, I’m no Jeff Booth.

Agreed. Solve the photo upload/storage puzzle and I think #Nostr decimates IG due to lighting integration.

I’m always a boomer proxy at pub trivia.

Do you think interoperability has a future or will one network eventually win out? I’m curious.

Is there an advantage to this over using #Nostr natively?

Interesting points. I would assume their clients would need relay connectivity (I.e. not allow users to add other relays). They may also whitelist users so they can ban users from their relays. I would think what they would offer to keep users onboard would be media storage and easy upload capabilities. 🤔

Me too. The version I have is circa 1980 so my trivia skills end there.

I think you’re right. If clients could allow connecting your preferred data storage as easily as you can connect your lighting wallet then we would be in business. And taking it further, if creators could have zaps/tips routed to storage providers to pay hosting fees, things could really get going.

I think this is a killer use case for #Nostr. But I think the lack of native media storage is a hurdle. If there was a seamless way to upload photos, videos music, etc. via the app and not have to worry about managing media storage, then #Nostr could eat everything.

Cold card highly recommended, as is the #[6] tutorial. #[7]

Question: If a legacy social media platform like Twitter or Facebook decided to pivot and spin up #Nostr relays, would anyone trust them enough to use their relays?
