I think the NDK 10 minute startup goal is a great one. If it’s a workshop where everyone builds a simple client and then messages and zaps each other with their custom client, it could spark a lot of excitement. But maybe that’s the perspective of a newb like me.
I’m not really a dev (you’ve seen my project) but what excites me about building on Nostr is that it’s very simple to understand.
And then it’s very simple to get started building. And it’s really amazing when you see fetched notes in your app with minimal code.
The protocol is so general that the applications are endless and everyone benefits from the network effects.
I’m hatching another plan for a project to bring in more content creators. For that, I would focus on built in funding/payments and full control over content. Plus the current state of Nostr culture.
TBH, I don’t know why a builder/dev wouldn’t at least try Nostr, unless what they want to build is not technically possible.
Also, shoutout to the Nostr dev community (including you) which is extremely welcoming.
Is this a workshop to get devs going with Nostr, or bitcoiners/normies onboarded?
What are his odds of winning it all, sticking around long enough to make change, and surviving?
No kidding. I remember reading the ezine and playing with back orifice back in the day.
Do you have a screw map?
Things to do in Denver when you’re alive? And with a toddler?
Honestly I’m just surprised nostr:npub1t3ggcd843pnwcu6p4tcsesd02t5jx2aelpvusypu5hk0925nhauqjjl5g4 knows who Jeff Bezos is.
Big if true.
nostr:npub1hzlwh2kpl6j9azg8554k66jhwpejsfm09uqqwxw7rjlzpvael6qqfmk8l6 Gah, no kidding. I'd rather listen to ILBTs, and that song is terrible. :-)
😂 no kidding.
They are hard to find in TX too.
DIY ejection seat.
In Coracle too! nostr:nprofile1qqsyvrp9u6p0mfur9dfdru3d853tx9mdjuhkphxuxgfwmryja7zsvhqpz3mhxue69uhhyetvv9ujuerpd46hxtnfduqs6amnwvaz7tmwdaejumr0dsq3samnwvaz7tmjv4kxz7fwwdhx7un59eek7cmfv9kqyuaz92 and I were just chatting with each other from our respective implementations this morning. The magic of open protocols never gets old.

Compatible implementations?
They usually performed Life’s been good live. Also Rocky Mountain Way IIRC.
But yeah. Even a goofy Walsh song would have been better than The Greeks Don’t Want No Freaks.
