Just one day after two senior Pentagon officialsâDan Caldwell, a top adviser to Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth, and Darin Selnick, Deputy Chief of Staffâwere escorted from the building and placed on administrative leave, another high-ranking official has now faced similar action. Colin Carroll, Chief of Staff to Deputy Defense Secretary Stephen Feinberg, has had his Pentagon access suspended and has also been placed on administrative leave. The moves come amid an ongoing investigation into multiple high-level leaks, including sensitive details about military operational plans concerning the Panama Canal, the USS Carl Vinson (CVN-70) being redirected to the Middle East, Elon Muskâs contentious March visit to the Pentagon for discussions on China, and the recent disruption and resumption of intelligence-sharing with Ukraine.

According to Axios, Elon Muskâs March 21st visit to the Pentagon was originally set to include a top-secret briefing with Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth and other senior officials on U.S. preparations for a potential conflict with China. However, President Trump reportedly called off the briefing after details were leaked to The New York Times the day before. âWhat the fuck is Elon doing there? Make sure he doesnât go,â Trump allegedly said after the leak spread within the White House. A senior official clarified, âThe President still has a lot of admiration for Elon, but there are red lines. Elon does significant business in China and maintains good ties there. This briefing just wasnât appropriate.â

Footage reportedly shows the moment of impact and the aftermath of todayâs strike on the barracks of the 112th Missile Brigade of the Russian Armed Forces in the village of Shuya.

Lebanese Army confirms:
âAs a result of monitoring and follow-up by the Army Intelligence Directorate, and investigations conducted by the Directorate and the Military Police, in cooperation with the General Directorate of Internal Security Forces and the General Directorate of Public Security regarding two rocket launches towards the occupied Palestinian territories on March 22 and 28, 2025, the first between the towns of Kfar Tibnit and Arnoun - Nabatieh, and the second in the Qaqaiyat al-Jisr area - Nabatieh, the Directorate has identified the executing group, which includes Lebanese and Palestinians.
Subsequently, raids were carried out in several areas, resulting in the arrest of a number of members of the group, and the seizure of the vehicle and equipment used in the two operations.
The seized items were handed over, and an investigation was initiated with the detainees under the supervision of the competent judiciary. Efforts are underway to arrest the remaining suspects.â

A Lebanese security source told Al-Araby Al-Jadeed: The fingerprints taken from the missile launch pad played a prominent role in revealing the identity of those involved.
Al Qahera/AFP correspondents: The Lebanese army arrests a number of members of the group that carried out two rocket launching operations from the south of the country towards Israel.
According to the Saudi broadcaster Al-Hadath, around 400 Hezbollah field commanders have recently left Lebanon with their families and relocated to South American countries such as Venezuela, Ecuador, Colombia, and Brazil.

The British Supreme Court has ruled that âtransgender womenââor men who identify as womenâshould not be legally defined as women.
The courtâs decision was unanimous.
A source in Hezbollah told Al-Arabi Al-Jadeed: There is dialogue with Lebanese President Joseph Aoun, as well as the will for understanding, and the party is open and serious.
Both Caldwell and Selnick previously worked under Hegseth at Concerned Veterans for America, a conservative political-action group advocating for veteranâs rights and limited government, which also supporting the 2021 withdrawal from Afghanistan by U.S. President Joe Biden.
Politico is now reporting that, in addition to Dan Caldwellâa senior advisor to Secretary of Defense Pete HegsethâPentagon Deputy Chief of Staff Darin Selnick was also escorted out of the building by security and placed on administrative leave earlier Tuesday. The move comes as part of the same ongoing investigation into âunauthorized disclosures and leaksâ within the Department of Defense.
Selnick previously held positions in the White House and the Department of Veterans Affairs during President Trumpâs first term, and earlier this year served as Acting Under Secretary of Defense for Personnel and Readiness.

Dan Caldwell, a senior advisor to U.S. Secretary of Defense Pete Hegseth and a close ally of recently confirmed Under Secretary of Defense for Policy Elbridge Colby, was escorted out of the Pentagon and placed on administrative leave earlier today due to âan unauthorized disclosureâ connected to an ongoing investigation into recent leaks within the Department of Defense.
Caldwell was also identified by Secretary Hegseth in last monthâs leaked Signal chat, published by The Atlantic, as the âbest staff point of contact for the National Security Councilâ during preparations for the Trump Administrationâs current strike campaign against the Iranian-backed Houthi terrorist group in Yemen.

The narrative war between the U.S. and China is in full swing, fueled by the tariff conflict initiated under Trump. Recently, the Trump administration declared it would not allow China into its âbackyard,â referring to Latin America. In response, China fired back, stating that Latin Americans donât want to be anyoneâs backyard. The irony, however, is that China seeks to turn the entire South China Sea into its own backyardâa Pacific region one and a half times the size of the Mediterranean, bordering half a dozen countries. In this clash of great power narratives, hypocrisy seems to be the norm.
