Well according to #Putin he was promised things in return from withdrawing from #Kyiv. The West then did not honor the agreement. He really did think he could negotiate a quick end things. Looks like the West thought #Russia did not have staying power and would collapse. Seems both misread things.

You didn't watch it. From his perspective, he's fighting on Russian soil. Ukraine is truthfully an artificial state and doomed like others before them and others to follow (regardless of where in world).
Why do you think the U.S. and Europe is flooding their countries with immigrants? Its to wipe out traditional identities that might lead to the break up of their artificial unions {plus to keep wages down so inflation can erase the relative value of the debts they owe}.
No I also got the impression he's a globalist, but wants to preserve Russian identity / values. Kinda wants a world playing like an international hockey league where teams have own identity but play according to rules and with good sportsmanship.
Some things I got from interview:
- #Putin sees the #C.I.A. as his main adversary.
- Elites truly run the West.
- Putin really wanted to be part of the West, but that dream is now gone. {Not capitalizing in this has to be one of the biggest western diplimatic screw-ups in western history!}
- Putin wants a negotiated settlement and believes the #Americans do to.
- Putin wants Ukraine east of the Dnieper and won't stop until that is achieved.
- Putin hopes Poland, Hungary and Romania (and probably Belarus a bit) act in their own interests and carve up among themselves #Ukraine west of the Dnieper.
- #Russia believes the West are double tongued and are never again to be trusted.
- Besides Ukraine, #Russia will now focus on trade with the East. He seems particularly interested in cultivating good partnerships with #Indonesia - probably so as not to be too dependent on #China.
- He believes the West shot itself in the foot and their empire / glory days are over.
- Tucker has risen to his own level of incompetence.
It was just a tactic to control the conversation to get your point across. Telling stories rooted in facts makes a person warm up to you and believe what else one might say. #Putin was a well trained spook. #TuckerCarlson was out of his league.
The West should be thankful for this interview though. Always good to hear and understand the other side's point of view.

Strawman argument. That's why it doesn't make sense. Market cap is a function of supply and demand at a particular point in time. It does not represent how many dollars were invested and lost since 2008 when the #btc white paper was introduced - notably just a few weeks before the federal reserve started QE1. Since countless other copycats and #shitcoins have been introduced to get back more dollars for nothing. And the endgame is to replace all #dollars with cbdcs at pennies to the dollar. Regardless, one does not have to reign in 100% of the money printed to reign in #hyperinflation.

I watched the whole #TuckerCarlson interview with #Putin and concluded Tucker did himself a disservice. One neon line was Putin saying like when you wanted to join the C.I.A. Tucker a spook? Kinda puts the whole alien encounter b.s. Tucker keeps pumping into perspective. I doubt it if #Trump shortlists Tucker to be V.P. after watching any significant amount of this interview. Kudos to Putin for not being lured into saying anything about Trump that could be deemed election interference!

The truth is that prior to #crypto the #centralbanks / #governments could only rein in #hyperinflation by really really jacking up interest rates. But that would cause a lot of painful defaults / foreclosures - which is negative to economies, governments and politician (remember the early 80s. I do). However, they still needed to mop up all the money printing which caused the hyperinflation. So they, who you should know, after the last near collapse created #bitcoin. They pumped it as being designed by a fictitious smart Japanese guy doing it for us common folk. Their intent being that we, the average person, would be dumb enough to give back the excess printed money for NOTHING - allowing them to tame inflation, reduce debt ratios and reap the fiscal and political benefits of a stimulated #economy.
They were smart and we were gullible.

I used to think so too. However, if you watch #mempool bitcoin explorer then you will see that some blocks are delayed 30 plus minutes so the tranaction fees get to a better sat/vB. Watch and explain that. One of reasons I closed my positions.
