Gotcha

Someone zapped me last night when I was sleeping. I got notification from Amethyst and Minibits that I received a zap, but Minibits show nothing received.

Any idea what could be wrong? I tested today that I can receive tokens to my Minibits wallet.

Imagine building a censorship resistent decentralizded network and then it's almost exclusively used for:

1. Talking about the network itself

2. Bitcoin

3. Bots, most of which are basically just an RSS feed

No bitcoiner should own any stocks. The stock market is why ppl are poor. Bitcoiner that hold stocks are part of the problem. Bitcoiners need to stop feeding the beast and also rhey need to stop using credit card companies because thats why we in tgis problem to begin with. Bitcoiners want to change the world but keep feeding the beast through stock markets

When I transferred Bitcoin into the wallet of satoshi app it automatically converted the Bitcoin into Satoshi.

I have a total of 148,738 Satoshi that I can use to "zap/like" posts on Nostr.

The current value of all those Satoshi is valued at $103 USD. I noticed the value of my Satoshi went up since yesterday. Yesterday it was worth $101. Haha

Each zap is real money so this is going to completely change the social media game and the whole internet as well.

People are always asking “when’s it going to happen?” When will we see the illustrious “Bitcoinization?”

I’ve explained this concept many times on the daily show, but I figured I’d make a nice little graphic for nostr.

So, when will it happen?

There’s a couple ways to look at it.

1. As #[1]​ points out, you can start living in the future today.

You don’t have to wait for the TV to tell you. And by then you’ll have missed the great opportunity in history.

Spend more time/energy in bitcoin.

Spend less time/energy in fiat.

2. There will also come a point when more people will trust bitcoin than fiat.

Prior to the financial collapse of 08, most people had a decent amount of trust in government and the fiat dollar.

In 09, only a handful of people trusted bitcoin.

Since then, both levels of trust have went in completely opposite directions.

And the best part? We’re never going back. There’s no way in hell that OUR trust in fiat will ever go back up.

The reality is that it’s happening, slowly, every single day.

Less people are trusting fiat and more people are trusting bitcoin.

It’s just a matter of TIME.

I like how Bitcoin has nothing to do with American politics

As a non-Bitcoin developer who fully appreciates everything #bitcoin has to offer. I must say after spending the last month on #nostr, I have to say the lingo is not very user friendly.

For me personally, I have been spending quite a bit of time trying to understand and figure out how to use the lightning network. I can see the development process happening with some of the apps, but I have to say if we want Bitcoin to reach mass adoption we have got to spend more time making these apps, user-friendly. I think one issue with Bitcoin adoption is not just understanding the technology but being intimidated by the interfaces of a lot of these programs and apps. If you’re not a developer or a highly motivated individual it’s very easy to become discouraged in the Bitcoin space, simple because it’s not easy to navigate. Thankfully, they are so many awesome helpful people in the Bitcoin community that I have been able to stay afloat, but for many people who are just simply afraid to ask questions this is going to be a challenge.

So thank you for all of your contributions and your continued contributions, but please please keep in mind easy user friendly is the way to mass adoption.
