Here's a fun / painful challenge depending how you look at it:

1. Pick an app of your choice and join Mastodon

2. Write down anything you didn't like about joining it

3. Write down anything you don't like about it while browsing it

4. Come back a few times later, and note anything interesting / or not interesting.

Come back to nostr and report: why are you on Mastodon daily now, or why are you not on Mastodon. Explain some of your observations.

Perhaps the filters are loose around the word “funding” but restrict unrelated topics.

Id generate a tag cloud of related concepts where anything that mentions that topic is ok in the parent note. Replies could be more relaxed perhaps?

I know it’s not perfect but with enough tweaking and good UI / etiquette you might get to a decent state.

I think the main thing is just to launch this and work through the kinks until it more or less works as intended. No doubt you’d run into interesting dilemmas and edge cases, but that would be a fun challenge .

No. I like self moderation. But, for channels, you’d want part of that to be filtered out for you so you don’t have to put in a lot of manual work for something you expect to work a certain way.

But don't worry, there are another 6 decimal places that aren't shown, for a total of 8 decimal places internally. It shows 1.00 but internally it's 1.00000000. If there's massive deflation in the future, the software could show more decimal places.

ซึ่งผมก็ชอบ Idea นั้นนะ เพราะจากประสบการณ์ที่แอบซุ่มๆอ่าน มานาน พบว่าเนื้อหาส่วนใหญ่ ไปทาง Bitcoin , Technical ซะมาก คือไม่ทั้งหมด เพราะมีอีกหลายคนที่พูดอีกหลายเรื่อง แต่ต้องยอมรับว่าเป็นส่วนน้อยแหล่ะ แต่ก็เข้าใจได้ เพราะจุดกำเนิดของ nostr ก็มีความเชื่อมโยงกับแนวคิดของ Bitcoin ที่ต้องการปลดแอกตัวเองออกเป็นอิสระจากระบบการเงินเดิมอยู่ ดังนั้น social network ก็เช่นกัน

ถ้ามี non-tech content creator เข้ามาในพื้นที่นี้มากขึ้น ก็จะช่วยดึงดูดคนทั่วไปเข้ามาอ่านได้มากขึ้น และ ก็จะเกิดความสนใจใน platform ได้มากขึ้นเองตามธรรมชาติ

ส่วนตัวก็คิดว่าน่าจะเข้ามาช่วย เป็น non-tech content creator ทั่วๆไปอีกหนึ่งคน เพราะปกติ ก็ publish content free เรื่อยๆอยู่แล้ว แล้วจะทยอยไปกวาดต้อนคนเข้ามาอีกที

Pragmatically though, we have to be careful how we act because the contract breakers have more and bigger weapons and control the media and therefore how the majority will interpret everyone's actions.
