Many, many bitcoiners still to this day say “you can’t be progressive and be a bitcoiner.”

Honestly, I can agree in part while also mainly disagreeing.

Many progressives that learn about bitcoin adjust their worldview and solutions a bit. But the value set doesn’t change, just the means to get to the end.

I, and many progressives, find out how deficit spending, MMT, and ineffective climate protests with no solutions won’t bring about the change we want and often make things worse.

Bitcoin is an incredible tool that progressives will find is incredibly powerful for marginalized communities that have been discriminated against by Wall Street and the big banks, working class folks with no solution to financial sustainability in retirement, as a solution to profitable expansion or renewables and cleaning up otherwise wasted and flared gas, human rights use cases around the world, money for protestors and activists and beyond.

Bitcoin is changing hearts and minds for progressives that are open to it, and who have come to the realization that politicians and our government is not here to save us. But, we can reign in their power and influence, while the game theory plays out and some of these progressive politicians pivot to the will of the people.

I will do my damndest to help progressives see the hope and potential in Bitcoin, because it’s not enough for just Donald Trump and Republican bitcoiners to praise the technology. That would be a shame if it continues to grow more partisan.

You can be anything and still be a bitcoiner.

Saying you have to have a certain mentality is fiat thinking.

You to know that's not fog right? That's actually all the pollution spewing from the fans of all the bitcoin miners there 🤣

Zuckerberg who vows to tackle climate change it doing a good job at it.

Allegedly he bought a Yacht that uses 4 diesel engines with fuel consumption rating of 291 gallons/hour EACH.

Nothing screams being a climate activist by driving a boat that burns nearly 1200 gallons of diesel per hour.

Let's do some quick math on the "carbon footprint" of this.

They say on average Diesel fuel produces 2.68kg of CO2 per 1 liter. Not sure how these numbers came to be but it seems like a general consensus.

Convert the consumption of his Yacht of 1164 gallons per hour to liters and you have 1164 x 3.7854 (assuming its US gallons) = 4406.20 liters/hour x 2.68kg of CO2 = 11808.63 KG of CO2 every hour.

Studies say that the "average" co2 emissions per person in the world is about 4.66 metric tonnes.

That's right. 11.8 metric tonnes per HOUR compared to the 4.66 average per human being per YEAR.

GM.

Which government entity in the world will try to attack bitcoin today?

Am I going to be a felon for running a lightning node and a money launder routes a payment through me?

#asknostr

It's fine I'm not affected as I am Canadian, but regulation by enforcement like this is unacceptable.

But can you use a seed signer for Lightning transactions?

Bcash miners in disbelief after seeing Bitcoin mining revenue go UP after the halvening.

Who is consolidating UTXOs right now? Lol
