Thanks! It's a very new place and it was an industrial area about 90 years ago. A LOT to do but we're on it.
Just a different view point.
Fallen trees getting chopped down.
Added some Buddleia Davidii Empire Blue in the grove. I plan to slowly remove those existing trees as the bushes grow.
This is the type of soil you get when you acquire land that was an industrial zone in the past. 10 cm of humus then fat granite cobblestones and endless bricks foundations.
I started to clean and clear up a bit this little grove. Covered with shreds and hay, put a few plants. More are on their way.

There was a group of two plane tree slowly crumbling on two others for a while and they were also going to take some birch in their course. But less than ten minutes after our last arrival on site, we heard branches cracking, then suddenly four of the trees were down.
But those trees stood pretty much exactly where I planned to build a small wood house or park a trailer, which was a big blocker. Paying to bring them down is just out of my reach and finding a friend to do it didn’t work so far. So this is really a good thing they’re finally out of the way!
Although, they're not completely down.

Last bits of a tree that was down for a while and that was taking down the fence with it. It's gonna be used for the barbecue's fire!
Can't agree more. We're trying to turn this ruin into a citadel.
