Bottom line, if you're trying to learn to #trade, learning to trade breakouts (along with momentum trades) = the two easiest ways to start out ... Very hard to not see this patterns (if you can put TA on a chart (PROPERLY) already, the work is already done each day for the breakout trade) ... Momentum (in either direction) ONCE ESTABLISHED AND STRONG = usually a sure fire winner.
Though the PROBABILITY of winning on the momentum trade is high (compared to many trades), note the important caveat already given about learning to trade breakouts; MOST FAIL (your trading plan MUST take that into account, ALWAYS).

The key is to enter, BEFORE the breakout ... and put a very tight stop just under the breakout level, as soon as you put the trade on.
