Certainly, I understand that gender’s definition can vary based on social context. In my view, rigid gender norms often lack significant social utility. People should be free to embrace their preferred gender identity without causing harm to others. It’s primarily a matter of personal preference.

As for myself, my inclination towards a particular gender might stem from my upbringing in a highly traditional and authoritarian household with strict gender roles. Growing up in a fundamentalist Christian environment influenced my perspective. I sometimes ponder if the existence of transgender individuals is more pronounced in societies where rigid gender roles are enforced. I wonder if, with increasing acceptance of non-binary and agender people, this could become a matter of personal preference rather than a highly relevant societal concept.

I see no issue with rooting your gender in your sex, and if that provides you a sense of simplicity overall, that's honestly good. It's a very physicalist, embodied view of reality, which I can actually appreciate.

Honestly I’m fine with edgy humor (within reason), gives the world some spice 😋😝 thank you fammm!! I appreciate you’re support you are too kind 💜

So hot 🥵

#comingoutday #lgbt A few years ago, I embarked on a journey of self-discovery, delving into questions about my sexuality. Despite grappling with internalized homophobia and the associated shame, I’ve gradually grown more accepting of my diverse attractions and the complexity of my identity.

In terms of my gender identity, I began exploring it about a year ago and found comfort in being identified as gender fluid. Embracing “femininity” has been enjoyable, but it’s challenging because I constantly grapple with the idea that gender is a social construct while desiring to fit into certain roles. I’ve always aimed to break free from societal norms and liberate myself. Perhaps one day, I’ll find a way to reconcile these feelings.

You’re right I’ve seen the CP argument used against things like AES 256 encryption and all sorts of stuff like that I’m not supporting that. Obviously the state has to do something to help deter the spread of CP but attacking protocols isn’t the way to go. At this point it’s wackamole.

I guess I was more expressing concern that government scrutiny would follow but with your rely I realize how by that logic we would have to look at a bunch of other stuff, which definitely hasn’t happened yet.

Very true; economic pressures and forces, rouge actors both political and economic, ideological fascism and disintegration of reality… etc etc

Ehh maybe that’s true for neocons and some evangelical Christian nationalists. But a lot of nazis and fascists are hella anti semitic
