So thats a yes. Got it.
I think you should read up more on communism before you speak on it. I don’t necessarily agree with communist solutions alot of the time, but that doesn’t mean I critique the ideology for things it doesnt propose.
I meant decommodification of higher education on the second time around*
Fair enough. I’m an American so I prioritize democracy in the workplace, deco modification of healthcare, changing zoning laws to incentivize more residential and affordable options, decommodification of healthcare, jobs programs, reducing car centered infrastructure, maintaining third spaces like libraries, stuff like that generally.
I’m hearing “we havnt tried it before so we dont really know if it will work but it could be potentially better than what we have now.” But I’m not hearing any potential benefits, just an overall potential for some nebulous societal benefit. Or is this more of something you advocate for on principle, without considering the harm or benefit societally.
You also know that communism is the advancement towards a stateless classless society right? Just checking that you are aware of that.
So when they talk about private property it’s not about owning just any property. It’s specifically private ownership of the means of production that’s targeted, ie capital ownership. Just so we’re specific.
Yeah I definitely think that option 2 is the best solution. The only thing that bothers me is that I check my phone already a lot and spam notifications just aren’t my favorite. Not to say that I wouldn’t be receptive to seeing what a product is from such a notification if it caught my eye.
But what’s the case for crypto being a better solution to fiat as it relates to solving world solutions
What is your definition of private property? A lot of times people complete the property with personal property. Communist are not opposed to people owning things
I’m not convinced that we can have viable alternatives to the state without significantly sacrificing our lifespans do to a lack of infrastructure to support the world populations.
Yeah like I like the part about the international transactions and not having to pay exchange rates and the like. That’s probably my favorite part about crypto.
It’s not my favorite thing in the world*
I’m not opposed to the idea theoretically because you’re adding value to the consumer but I want to know what safeguards are in place to not spam. Cuz I get really small zaps from bots frequently and it’s my favorite.
If you can make a case why this would solve any social problems, go for it
The saying is actually “the love of money is the root of all evil”
I think I’m in the minority of nostr users who doesn’t believe that getting rid of fiat would substantially solve our problems 😁
Money is made up. Post-Keynesian economics ftw.
