This is a great conversation about Bitcoin. I was surprised that nostr:npub1qny3tkh0acurzla8x3zy4nhrjz5zd8l9sy9jys09umwng00manysew95gx said the same thing about Bitcoins price that I mentioned in my video a few weeks ago, but tbh, if you’re not generally cautious or negative about bitcoins price, it’s kinda obvious. Well I hope it plays out that way.
From the discussions they had was about the super cycle, the US Bitcoin reserves, cashu (which I actually haven’t used yet, but will explore now they’ve raised the flag) and general adoption conversation, which is my favourite topic.

Needless to say, any Muslim hearing this will realise why mankind is lost without the guidance from Allaah. Destroy billions of dollars of wealth by burning your Bitcoin keys is NOT an act of charity to the world, in fact it’s the usual “rich helping the rich get richer”
Instead, if he REALLY wanted good for the world, he would give his wealth to the poor and needy who could benefit from that wealth. Orphans, widows, the elderly who don’t have family to support them, so many ppl they he could help, but no…instead burn the keys…
So are you saying that burning the keys won’t be a way to increase the scarcity of Bitcoin and therefore push the price of Bitcoin up?! This will make everyone richer and benefit everyone!!”
No. It will make those who already have Bitcoin (wealth) increase in their wealth.
What about those who DONT have Bitcoin because they live paycheque to paycheque?! It’s a move that favours those who already HAVE money. The more they have the more it benefits them.
This is not an act of benevolence, it’s a misguided act of benefiting the rich.

I think we’ve been scammed. All this fear mongering over quantum computing seems to be due to individuals who wanted to pump their bags of quantum computing stocks.

One reason why I believe Muslims need to take Bitcoin seriously is because it’s our exit from the Ribaa fiat flywheel, and that wheel is about to spin off its hinges. Thank God for guidance, for life and for that exit.

•Want to have fun? There’s pills for that.
•Want to address your erectile disfunction due to watching too much porn? Yep, pills for that too
•Want to lose weight?! Wait…there’s now pills for that.
Is there anything they will not take pills for rather than address the root problems that cause the above?
Note, Islam, just by being Muslim, avoids literally all of the above. No medication required.

I mean, for Bitcoin, that couldn’t really work, unless you get the fees back via lightning, as you can’t simply change the transaction without the sender doing that. But I guess you could boost your transaction by watching an add, like you can boost it with mempool.space. nostr:npub18d4r6wanxkyrdfjdrjqzj2ukua5cas669ew2g5w7lf4a8te7awzqey6lt3
To boost a transaction might set you back a bit, but if you don’t mind watching some ads, have the advertiser pay for the boost.
