It is important to note some of the claims in the book cannot be verified. The book however offers a unique perspective not talked about in the North West and for that is still worth a read.

In his first day he followed a total of 1 person besides himself and the Damus account (which are auto follows I believe). Clearly not here to experience the real Nostr. Follow people and engage. That's the way to truly "run Nostr."

You can't expect somebody to be all in if they're toying around with the protocol. You also shouldn't follow somebody on the condition they follow you or meet some sort of "follow quota" but because they post things you like.
Not to mention no point in needing to publicize that you dislike a person and are no longer following them.
This feels unnecessarily negative and assuredly not a good first impression for somebody new.
Is there a way to separate followed tags from followed accounts? I would like to follow a bunch of tags to make my own feed but also don't want to drown out the people I specifically want to follow from my home feed,
