Maybe try in person exchanges or try seeing if you can open a bank account in the states directly. Also not sure if Bitcoin ATMs will sell as well or not. Just be careful of laws especially after posting publicly.

And on the downward trend we continue
+ #PostmarketOS if you're interested in a Linuxy phone
+ ADB bridge if you don't want/can't install a new OS/ROM
Also options maybe worth researching
#GrapheneOS of you're on a pixel
#Calyx is if you're not on a pixel but they support it
Lineage if neither support your device

"use the instruments of defensive democracy" (translation)
Yes defend democracy by prohibiting your political enemies from voting.
Can't say I'm familiar with the German economic so maybe I shouldn't be commenting. But when politicians plan to defend a democracy by taking away voting rights it doesn't sound like they're much of a democracy anymore.
Not to mention there was a particularly awful German chancellor who took away rights of particular groups, prevented them from leaving, and disarmed them 80 or so years ago. Didn't end well.
Should clarify the above doesn't state it's illegal just using GDPR. Had a separate convo the other day that somebody said it's potentially illegal.
Right, this is what the GDPR was meant to solve. Independent developers building software to connect open networks. 😂 https://github.com/snarfed/bridgy-fed/issues/855
Am curious to see if EU laws will more or less kill of EU hosted federated software. Those bridges are exactly the same as any other fedi software in their duplication of posts and some Europeans seem to think bridges are illegal.
