I mean, at least over at CB we totally did fuck it up, like a bunch of times. I sometimes stand in awe of just how much bitcoin we accidentally destroyed with absolutely dumbass ideas.

I sometimes stand baffled at thinking about how many bitcoins passed through my hands as a support manager at coinbase from 2013- 2017.
I cherish the camaraderie we share in having been through all of those personal struggles we share, even though we didn’t know each other at the time and the solidarity we also shared in having been in the trenches together early on, again, even though we didn’t know each other then. Even though we were on different fronts, in different theaters of war, all the struggles were the same.
Feels good to be on this side of the struggle now and to know we are winning.
TBH I get a deep sense of nihilism when the price goes up this fast. It’s mostly having the face ripped off of how superficial and fleeting our generalize pricing mechanisms are, and how hypnotized we all are within this system of ‘value’.
Bitcoin has always been worth this much (and much more!), we are just waiting for the rest of the world to see it too. It almost like I feel ashamed of knowing that I’ve been right all along and haven’t thrown down even hard, and been even more insistent about what we are doing.
