Indeed. But in their defence:

1) They were deceived by a lie (and still are), as we all are to some extent. It was only a minority of boomers that made this mess. It is, after all a class system. Middle and lower classes (mostly the middle) are heavily indoctrinated to perform the will of the mega wealthy, virtually from birth.

2) We have the Internet they did not. This allows dissenting voices and access to information that simply wasn't available back in the days of TV/magazines (Hence the current totalitarian attempts to censor all wrong think on the net). We have the potential to be better informed.

3) If our lives were swapped with our parents - would we do anything differently than them? I think probably not. After Nazi Germany, researchers tried to find out why most went along with it. Checkout the famous Milgrim's shock experiments and Zimbado's prison experiment. Majority of people just do what they're told to do. Think what they're told to think.

4) One good thing about the 'death of God' is that it got rid of a lot of bad religion and religiousity (but admittedly, replaced with some equally bad, if not worse, religion. Like Consumerism, and now the great spectre on the horizon; Corporate Transhumanism. Blah!). Not saying all religion or theism is bad. You know what I mean.

Anyway, we have:

Internet (for a little while longer at least)

Bitcoin

Nostr

Freedom tech

Medical care and advancement (yes, I know, I bit of a mixed bag. And when I say we, I mean everyone everywhere, in the entire world, including outer space, except America) *

* (yes, I know many in the developing world, and the poor generally, don't. It was just a joke)

I can agree with most of this. It also imparts the real responsibility we have to distribute, decimate, and decentralize all of this technology with the greatest of care. I really think this is our one shot to get this right.

It’s hard to understand or understate just how deep the trauma of living in modernity carries. To be born generations after The Death of God and the closure of any forms of life outside or beyond the mechanization of economics, is to acknowledge the very real, deep, and painful truth that we have been betrayed by our parents and left worse off then they were. It is the deepest and most painful betrayal as we were suppose to be give a life for ourselves and a future of our own, which they sacrificed for their own greed and avarice which had doomed most people to a life just beyond poverty. It is sickening to know that things are worse for our generation than it was for our parents and that they not only betrayed us economically, but politically and spiritually as well. It is a lot to take in when you really look at it, and it is painful to see how we were betrayed.

Man, twitter just fucking blows and pretty much is just showing me snuff, porn, and memes that make me hate humanity (but love animals).

I probably should just delete that shit and move on with my life in a meaningful capacity.

This looks legit, glad to see you are expanding what you are working on 🤣

Because the state cultivates, encourages, and integrates corporatism into itself and directly sponsors competition against small-scale producers specifically to destroy them as it’s easier to control and sponsor corporations rather than people. So imho the state is to blame, rather than corporations which are doing what comes naturally to them.

The state hates you and wants you to live in fear and terror so they can control your entire life. From cradle to grave the state demands being involved in every facet of life in order to create the greatest robbery that could ever be conceived: to rob you of your divinity and direct relationship with the divine to believe that you are nothing more than matter. Just another cog of flesh. They don’t want you to remember that you don’t need their permission or anyone else’s but your own. They don’t want you to remember the truth that you hold in your secret heart of heart that you’ve always know; but you’ve been brainwashed since birth to forget and suppress beyond all other forms of knowledge. That you are a divine empowered being who can change the world and need no one’s permission to do that.

One of the funniest things about going to music festivals is that they are clearly spiritual and religious rituals that have been lobotomized of their base meaning. Yet somehow have still reactualized themselves in modernity with this secret encrypted at their heart and still offer people the same benediction that prior religious festivals before have offered—mainly a path of transcendence awakening through the combination of drugs, community, and celebration. While debased and inverted from its previous means, in the transcendental awakening it provides, it unveils why the secrets of this initiation are held in such a way, and why such an experience must be offered in such a way.

Whoops! Mixed up the cigarettes and spliffs this morning.

Guess it’s gonna be one of those days.

The Romance of Bitcoin

Bitcoin really is the greatest romantic story of all playing out right in front of us, and hardly anyone notices just how extraordinary epic it is.

The story of a lone man with a love for humanity that is so great that he would choose to sacrifice not only the greatest fortune that has ever been created, but that the very substance of who he is—his identity itself—all just to give us the choice to be free. It is an inspiring epic that ask for each of us to rise to the task of what it would mean to truly love humanity and allow for the choice of such a freedom to come from only us, rather to live in the world of fiat darkness where the agency and power of man is something to be feared and caged in.

Now having been given the tools of personal liberation and self-soverginty, Satoshi loved us all enough to ask us the question if we also love ourselves enough to take on the task of what it means to enact the liberation that can only come from us through the empowerment of bitcoin. It ask from each of us not only to engage in the action of self-care in such a dramatic and empowering way that not only does it transform our existence from the plainness of everyday life that is the lackluster mechanization of everyday, but to show the world as an example of what such a love for all human would look like enacted in the day-to-day. It is not a life of the robust power and dictation of the state recreated anew, but a new form-of-life to free all people everywhere for the rest of time from such restrictions towards what it would really mean to be free.

Bitcoin is not about getting rich, making money, or even creating self-soverginty for ourselves; but is about loving the whole of humanity with such passion and conviction that not only will I be free, but so will everyone who truly understands what the love of bitcoin really is. A love for the freedom of humanity and infinite agency that comes from the soul of each and every individual who is now allowed to hold their wealth outside and beyond the view of any agency, body, ideal, or state in order to be something for each of us on its own. It is a love that can only actualize with the love, respect, and dignity that comes with understanding what the deepest purpose of bitcoin truly is. It is the secret that all Bitcoiners know and hold in their hearts, and it is from this dream of a better world and what the love of one another is, that we can truly change what is happening to our world together. No only for our people, but for the space that can only be reserved for the future ones that are loved before the arrive. This is so we may bow to them with reverence, dignity, and grace to say, “We have save this for you, and for only you.”

This romance for the human species and the kind of power and agency that we can each find within ourselves as a locus of control against a world that seeks to control everything is messianic insofar that it truly has the power to change everything. Only from the black of night that is the darkness of fiat, and the seeming end of man as a creature of infinite creativity, power, and agency; do we find the means to once again become the people that only we are capable of.

And as will all great romantic stories, the drama and tragedy that tells this tale of the most epic and extreme circumstances. For if bitcoin is not to succeed in this mission to liberate humanity from the bondage of debt slavery, financial surveillance, infinite fiat printing; that we will surrender the very fabric of what it means to be human to a dead and calculating machine of statism and its endless demand to control everything. It will only be love, love in the greatest, most astounding, bombastic envisioning that the world has ever seen that will save us from what is coming.

The electrification of consciousness that comes from bitcoin allows for the jumpstarting of sincere thinking not just as a form of logic, but as a means of achieving the ethics of what love is. This understanding of the praxis of love as a form of life allows for people to come to understand and see what fiat money really is under the imperialism of statism, and what that has cost us all. How dearly we have paid for this kind of money, this form of life, and this kind of economic machine that is not only divorced from the true care of all people everywhere, but has worked against them in such a way that very few can see the possibility of an exit at all.

This is why love and the understanding of what it is beyond a mere feeling and into an ethical praxis is of the greatest and most astounding purpose of bitcoin. It demonstrates that there is no price, no fiat value, no economic quantification towards what the freedom of the individual can truly mean. For man is not a cog in a machine from which his worth can be calculated, as a soul is not an engine with inputs and outputs, but is the infinite mysterious empowerment which secretly resides within each of us, and from which any person may achieve infinity. Together, we can choose to create a new world, one that is free from the rot and despair of fiat money and what it has robbed us of; but only if we choose the most radical form of love that chooses to vanquish the power and control of money from the hands of others, and back into our own.

Didn’t you see Mr. BBQ’s necklace? Seems like the new imperialist government is doing exactly what they want.

The first time I read him it was a random book my aunt had on her bookshelf that she got somewhere and didn’t know about it. I overflow with joy at each new line I read knowing that there had been intelligent people before me who saw and understood the state for what it was. What a glorious joy such a discovery was for me!
