Which clients were you using when it happened? It's a fairly common issue as it's some incompatibility between clients, but it's unclear which clients and when it occurs.

Bitcoin is money for enemies. The enemy used was thought to be terrorists. And because it can be used by enemies, it is non discriminatory. That's a strong point. Now, it can also be used for peddling feline imagery. Different enemy, slightly less violent, but same usage. Still a strong point.
So much for all the nitter links. Third parties are a persistence risk, an unrelenting march into the dead internet.

Whoever calls this art is missing a few screws in the head.

It did make enough for channel management, until now. This was > 1 month of routing fees.
It's a rented bare-metal server, so no. But the server is paid for by the other stuff that runs on there. I wouldn't recommend running a routing node from home, unless you have proper hardware and very solid power and internet.
The node started on an Odroid HC1, then an Odroid HC4 and when that started to hit the CPU limit, to a proper bare-metal server.
Routing node, running for over 5 years now. My oldest channel is from block 562908.
It was funner when doing batch opens on 1 sat/vB.

Next week there be dragons. Or cats, so that I heard.
Routing node indeed. It can be uncle Jim for incoming, but outgoing channels should have at least some traffic. I'll do spring cleaning once or twice a year to close channels I opened that don't move. I don't close incoming channels, unless offline for a long time.
Yes. I used to do it once a month or so, to reopen force closed channels and add some new nodes. Was a while ago though.
Just paid 66k sats to open 17 channels.
Is that smart or dumb? Where on the chart am I?

All Satoshi mentioned in his writings was that he created #Bitcoin so that the world has a peer-to-peer electronic cash solution. What does having JPEGs on the #Bitcoin network have to do with e-cash?
